Awesome little gem of a course
Love Lost Creek. Played here today for first time. Friendliest staff I have ever met at a golf course. Usually grumpy old men or young guys who have no personality & don't care to check you in st most courses but here you are greeted by energetic sweet helpful ladies. Very accommodating & informative. Greens in great shape. Fairways wide. Course is short so it is great for ladies & seniors or for working on short game. It does remind me of a municipal course a bit but much better kept. It's a great value. Slightly hilly but does not make playing difficult just challenging. Loved this little course. Great Experience!! Very female friendly. Will go back many times
Fun Golf Day
Course is in good condition and spring brings out great "green" views. My wife and I enjoyed a fun game and especially appreciated the course was busy but not rushed playing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend the course.
Good public course..
Have always thought this course has a good layout.
Greens are very good even though a little slow ..
Fairways need a lot of work often hitting off hard pan ,or searching for grass if players agree to permit lift and place...
Course has improved under new .management...
Will definitely play again
...
Great value!
This is a nice course fairways are a little thin in some areas. Good challenge! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly!
Short but fun
This was a fun layout. It's good for a beginner. I only played 9 holes and shot 2 under. The course was in pretty good shape. All around I will definitely go back and play again.
Short out of the way track
For the price that I got on a hot deal I was not disappointed nor impressed. They had aeriated probably two weeks prior and the greens were still bumpy. Most of your holes are very short except par 3's. Some par 4's are drivable from the white tees. The backside gets pretty congested with two greens and two sets of tees all bunched together. About 30 minutes from Knoxville or Sevierville. My recommendation would be to possibly pay a few more to upgrade your experience and closer unless you live in Jefferson County.
Great place
After my first visit to this course I can see why they have been around for 50 years. The young lady's were polite and kind and made us feel welcomed to be there, even showing up about 10 minutes late. The course was ok could have been 5star if the patches would have grown back before hand but fairways open and easy to play. The greens were in excellent shape but still challenged u at the same time with hole placement. The course reminded me of my local golf course Deerfield in Lafollette TN since you have hills and valleys to play on many holes. I will definately be back many times to come and I would recommend you check there specials out before booking since they had great deals for April . Again great course and thanks
Lost Creek, AMAZING
I had played LCGC in the past, but my understanding is that they are under new management. They no longer sell clubs in the clubhouse. While that my sound like a negative, I always felt the golf clubs were overpriced. It seems they are now investing that money to make other pertinent upgrades. I noticed they have new carts and a better food and beverage selection. The staff is awesome, they always seem intent on my needs, and that helps me prepare to go out and play my best.
When It comes to the course, I was slightly concerned that finding my ball would be difficult with all the leaves that have been falling lately. Well, their staff is on it. There were hardly any leaves on the course and the greens were perfect.
The other golfers on the course seemed to know proper etiquette. I played through two groups. One group was a group of two and the other was a group of three. Both groups asked me if I wanted to play through. I hate asking so it was nice that they approached me.
If I had to post any negatives about my experiences at lost creek they would be as follows:
4 stars on course layout because I'd like to see another water feature, a better on course restroom, and maybe a few on course water coolers.
Great Course
Great Course, the only downside was our tee time wasn't accurate we arrived 15 minutes early and still had to wait 10 minutes after our tee time. Staff needs to correct that problem and not allow walk ins when times are booked
Great course
Will go back. Very very clean!.
tough short course
The course has very small greens but they were in great shape.
Great Value
Have played this course several times. Great to see they have new management...much more friendly.I am an intermediate golfer and found that this is a fairly easy course to score well on compared to others in the area....most golfers should find it enjoyable for all levels....highly recommend...
This course has no water coolers
Overall a nice course just needs some water coolers throughout the course and it would be great course!
Great bargain for short course
Course was short but small greens added to the challenge. Despite the heat, the grass was in good shape. Golf Now price of $10/person with cart was unbelievable! Staff was friendly. Pro shop is minimalistic.
Poor Policies
Played course 2 times while on vacation. During both rounds, we were held up by fivesomes and one group with 6 players in it. Was informed that course management allowed 5 players at any time. Very bad policy. Only course we have visited that allowed 5. Will not be back.
best for the money
from the white tee its fun, from the blue tee its a challenge.
great value thru golf now.
staff, as always, superb!
greens are in good form
slow, but nice
fairways need plenty of hydro seed.
playable though
The play was smooth with minimal waiting time.
Haven't played Lost Creek in Ft. Worth in several years, but very satisfied with the course and the price. Play was smooth with minimal waiting time. Pro Shop Staff was friendly and very helpful to answer questions. Great burger in the clubhouse after golf!
