greens are in good shape bunkers need work.
overall the the course is good except for the fairways the bunkers they have started working on a few of them.
good value
The price for 18 holes is good if you book on GolfNow. The staff is super friendly. The fairways need a lot of attention, but considering the surroundings, they are ok. The greens are some of the best in the area.
I would recommend this course
The course is fun to play.
The course has very good greens. The fairways need some work and the bunkers need a complete redo. Overall enjoy playing here.
Excellent greens.
Played Blackberry Ridge today for $13.17..... Heck of a deal... Greens are receptive and in great condition..... We played lift clean and place (winter rules) and ground under repair for most of the traps. So the poor overall condition didn't affect us.
I love the layout of the course and the greens were in great shape.
I like playing this course even though it may have a few rough spots. I am looking forward to the improvements in the future.
Needs a lot of attention
Greens are good. Everything else needs a lot of work. Fairways are very rough, very little turf. The bunkers have NO sand and are grown up in weeds. Have to drop out of them. The course looks like one that is about to shut down.
Nice layout
This course has a beautyfil layout, but it doesn't have a lot of maintenance. It is under new management, hope they spend a little money on the course.
Great views, large, difficult greens, a rough gem!
This could be a PGA type course if they had a million dollars to spend. Lots of elevation changes, panoramic views, water, trees. I don't like the condition of the course in general, but I love playing it, especially for the money! Staff is small but accommodating, never saw a marshal all day.
Has some great geens
This course has a lot of potential but the fairways have been majorly neglected. It has some challenging sand trap locations and size however they have no sand in them just mud and rocks. This could be an amazing course and I think it is in the perfect location. I hope that someone will take it over and improve it for everyone.
course has potential
The course is for sale and needs investment and interest. Greens are overall very good considering the other conditions. No towels on ball cleaners and have water in them apparently from rainfall. Drink stations often have no cups or water. Fairways are hard and grass is sparse. You often have to hit off hardpack ground and no sand in any bunkers, just waste areas with weeds, mud or hardpack.
Good layout, fairways need attention, greens very good.
It's obvious that they are running this course on a limited budget as the fairways are in poor shape and the bunkers are not being maintained (we were told to play them as GUR). However, they have their priorities right because the greens are well maintained and were in very good shape.
This course has not great features but prise is good.
I paly this course several time. This course is hard but green is good.
Worst condition of any cousre I ever played
Sand traps were completly fool of high weeds that someone just sprayed to kill. You could not see any sand. Greens were tore up, bumpy not well taken care of. Fairway where rough almost evey where. Directions to next hole not clearly marked. I will never play there again, no matter how low the price drops.
No towels at ball washers that had no water in most. Truly just a cow pasture golf course. On a scale of 10, i give it a 1.
Greens are terrific. Fairways need some work, but overall i very much enjoy this course.
I enjoy going to Blackberry Ridge. I golf to enjoy the outdoors and the views and time spent on this course are well worth the price and the views.
Used to be a wonderful couse - gone to weeds and poor care
Someone needs to buy this course or shut it down. Sadly so much work went into Blackberry Ridge over the past 10 years to let go to complete waste. The bunkers are weed areas and the only playable parts are the greens. The day we played the teeing ground grass was 8" high. Horrible :(
Good greens, cow pasture fairways.
The greens were in great shape, better than most other courses this time of year. The fairways were horrible, lost multiple balls that were down the middle. The bunkers are horrendous, grass growing above your knees.
