The Legacy
About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Legacy Golf Course Remarks
An excellent course to play. Well laid out, somewhat challenging with the greens being the most challenging from a personal point of view. I have not adjusted to reading them correctly yet as they have some very subtle breaks which will make a good looking put just barely miss. Will definitely play again.
Awesome Layout
Played early April, so the majority of the bermuda was still dormant. Greens were immaculate. Great roll. Course layout is a gem. Ray Floyd did a great job. Will always replay when in the Nash area.
Great Time
I’m a new golfer and me and my 8 year old son had a great time.
The Worst Course I’ve played
I’ve been a lot of places and even some where a round isn’t more than $10 and it was still better than this. The course itself isn’t cheap, especially for the off season and it’s even worse when the play is so slow it takes 4 hours to play 9. We traveled all the way to this course and couldn’t even come close to finishing. The most redeeming quality was the decent condition of the greens, but the course itself wasn’t great.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time at The Legacy. We look forward to seeing you on the course soon for another 5-star experience!
Greens were in decent shape and the course layout was good. First tee was a free-for-all (saw groups of 3, 5, and a handful of singles); a ranger/starter would have helped with pace and spacing. Course conditions were rough - I get it's still "winter conditions", but the residential yards around the course were in much better shape than the fairways (which weren't much better than the rough). Wasn't worth the drive from Mt Juliet in my opinion.

Worth The Drive...
As expected, the Legacy never, ever dissapoints. From the minute you get there it is picturesque. The clubhouse is always well maintained and the pro shop staff are very friendly. While the actual pro shop is small itself compared to the rest of the club house, it has everything anyone would want in a pro shop. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and always eager to help, although the prices are a tad high, but not out of the ordinary for a golf course of this nature.
The golf course is immaculate, from well manicured tee boxes, to firm and responsive fairways that reward accuracy, to greens that roll fast and true and were amazing considering it is December, this golf course is a must play if you are in the Nashville area, and they are always running specials so you can get it on the cheap. I drove almost 2 hours to play this course because it is well worth it.
Keep it in the fairway, you can score here, get off the beaten path or out of position and this course will eat you alive. Overall, an amazing course and I love playing this course 1-2 times a year.

Some Great Holes - Some Holes Need Grass
If you only hit the ball right down the middle, and stay in the fairway all day, you may love this course!
The greens seemed much better, greener, etc. on the back 9. They all however varied in speed greatly, with some being lightning quick, and others being painfully slow and bumpy.
If you’ve never played here, play it! There are some awesome, extremely well designed (laid out) holes.
If they increased the price by 50 to 75% and fixed the place up you probably wouldn’t be able to get a tee time here.
What sand I was in seemed really nice.
The people all seemed really friendly.
