Got to go!
One of the most picturesque horses I have ever seen. You got to play it! A beautiful Robert Trent Jones course.
Good course
Course was in great shape very tough course. Well kept except a few things tee boxes were long and tee markers were just sticks with paint hole sings were out of date. Few small details would have more this course off the charts. Over all course is beautiful and a good challenge
Hidden gem
Course was wet and play was a bit slow but the views r terrific. One of my favs in Columbus. Will be SWEET once the monsoon season is over.
Eh
Be sure to call the course before booking because they do not tell you on this app that only HALF of the course is open. I paid for a full 18 but was dreading replaying the same 9 again after the first time through. Course is taken care of along with nice elevation changes. Pace of play was horrid. 3 groups were backed up on hole 10 and was waiting on almost every tee box.
Westerville - Champions Golf Course
Course was in great condition on most holes. Overall happy with how the course was. Only issue was the staff made me buddy up with a stranger in their cart that I had to go to the range to find him. Guy did not seem happy I had to ride with him. In a world where we have a virus going around and unsure of vaccines…. This set me on edge and effected my playing time today. Not to mention the course was path only - I played just yesterday close by and they did not make it cart path only. Overall I would play this course with a group of friends but this is not the course for solo rounds as they will make you buddy up in a cart. If the course wasn’t in the condition it was in… I probably wouldn’t come back so shoutout to the grounds crew.
Great condition
Fairways were the best I’ve seen them. The rough was thick and made for a challenging round. This is a well-wooded course that has some great Par 4’s.
Another great round
It’s been my first time back to Champions since they closed due to Covid and construction. The new clubhouse is great. I had a good time. The greens rolled nicely and the fairways were mowed well.
Pleasant Surprise
Course is in really good shape. Greens, fairways, tees and even the bunkers were nice. Only complaint: threesome ahead of us we’re very slow, 2 holes behind! Called the clubhouse and the ranger came out and lit a fire under they’re behinds! Will definitely be back really soon!
Course was ok
For the price I payed, for a Monday afternoon, I was not very happy. The staff acted like they did not want to be there, and one woman in particular was not very friendly. She acted like this city owned course was Augusta. And the only positive that I had for today was the pace of play. Due to the lack of players we were able to get through the course in under 4 hours. But for the price I paid for a weekday I don’t want to see the price for a weekend.
Eh
GolfNow said the round was $22 for 18 holes and charged me $5.XX to book it, they claimed this was a mistake when we checked in and told us it would be $30 for 9 holes. It's a decent course but not at all that nice.
Poor Service and Poor Course
Booked on Golfnow for $22 for 18. Arrive at the course and she tells me that “Oh, they did it again. Gotta love the internet” with an eye roll she says no this is for 9 holes walking. I stare blankly at her and say you’re not going to honor what your course posted on Golfnow? Absolute garbage that I drove out to this course and not to mention...they didn’t even have the tee boxes marked! Welcome to hole #1 want to hit from the black? White? Blues? I have no clue where because you have nothing indicating where to play from. Crazy they want $52 for a cart and 18 at this place. Plenty of courses in Columbus to play for much less and better quality and course layout. Thanks for the customer service, I’ll NEVER be back. Guess they really need the $$$ to recoup the money spent on their new clubhouse.
Nice City Course
Had a lot of fun but got delayed for frost advisory. I had to wait an hour no big deal the starter advised may times it was cart path only. Several times in fact , however the teenage ranger should not cut across fairways to see if we are staying off the fairways. Other than that great course will be back
Awesome course
Great course, very challenging. Definitely recommend.
