Great course and value
The course is in great shape and I always enjoy playing here. The staff - pro shop, marshalls, and cafe - are all so friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately a few groups ahead were playing slowly and we got backed up a bit but we were in no rush, and just enjoying the outing.

They put a out a 6 some a few groups in front of us and a fivesome right in front of us. They were SOOO slow!

Spectator fee
Today we booked a threesome to play, but we had one spectator with us who is sick and cannot play. We were charged $16 for her cart plus $10 for spectator, so $26 for that person. This is absolutely insane. A single rider is usually charged only $5 more, so why do they charge so much more for a single spectator? I even checked the website and there is no mention of a spectator fee of $26. The receipt we were given doesn't mention the spectator fee either.

New carts
So, Sterling is a very good track to play. It appears that they are making an effort improve the bathrooms and they have brand new carts. The price to ride is now $22 with or without sharing? I think it would be more fair to have a shared cart price which is less than a single cart price.
The staff is always going out of there way to help you with any issues. The snack concession was understaffed and cause a back up at the turn. All in all this is a nice place to play for the money!

Great day on great course
I really like the way they host golfers. Friendly and act like they are genuinely happy to have you there to play. Course is in good shape. Just a few spots of standing water/mud but nothing to affect playability.

Challenge for all handicaps
I'm an 18 and I played with an 8. We both had fun, enjoyed the challenges, and appreciated the well-manicured greens.

Sterling Hills
I used to play this course once or twice a week. I don’t play there as often because of the way they have restructured the fees.
I am a senior and I like to walk. They include a coupon for lunch that I must pay for even though I don’t want to eat the lunch they offer.
At one time they had a good restaurant where I liked to eat but I don’t want hot dogs and chips!
I would like to play sterling more often since it is a nice layout but I feel like I am being scammed every time they hand me the free lunch coupon.
Played 12 holes only
There was a high school tournament scheduled for 1:00, thus we only got to play 12 holes. This was not known to me until I checked in. Starter said this was scheduled thus GOLFNOW should have known.

Perfect day for Golf and a walk
Amazing Course! I have played here for over 20 years and it is still in great condition. Challenging and beautiful. Easy 6.5 mile - fairly flat walk. This is a bonus as I love the exercise.
