Blackhawk Golf Club sprawls across verdant, gently rolling terrain that provides a picturesque setting and ideal landscape for a round of golf. The family-run course has been one of central Ohio's most popular public golf courses since opening in 1964. The club has built its reputation on its friendly atmosphere and extremely affordable rates. Experienced golfers and beginners alike will find the course enjoyable thanks to the beautifully manicured fairways. The greens are slightly undulating and require a bit of strategy. There is a stream that cuts through the golf course as well as a number of small ponds that come into play on six holes. Bunkering is sparse but there are a few strategically placed along the greensides. Blackhawk Golf Club's 11th hole is notable for being one of the course's most scenic and also one of its most challenging.

This course has a great lay out.
Fairways were in great shape. Greens were mowed, but dry and hard. The gold tee boxes were hard as rock.
Great Track
Tight fairways and tough pin placements give you a good challenging day of golf!
BlackHawk was in amazing shape with fast greens, well maintained fairways and challenging tee box locations.
Good course, good value. I was pleasantly surprised with Blackhawk. It's a short course but has a lot of character. I play with 2 5 handicappers and they had just as much fun as I did.

Great course for the price
Greens and fairways are in pretty good shape. My go to course and its never to busy
good value
The course was a little soft but a good amount of rain prior. The greens were very slow...about 9-10. I'm sure once we get out of the rainy season the course will play better. Staff is very good.

Picke this course as a last minute decision. I have played this course in the past and the course was in good shape as it usually is. The staff let us get out early because it was not crowded due to the weather.

It was early December when I played Blackhawk twice. I have also played here many times before. Course is always in good shape and a great value for the price.
Great and Close
Always great to have such a good course so close to everyone in Westerville. They alway keep it the best they can. Greens are in especially good shape.

Nice mature course in pretty good shape. Had some pretty holes, greens were good too. Reminds me of some New England courses....short w good challenges.
Always a pleasure
I've played this course for years . The real only problem I have with this course is that they let too many singles out that want to play through. You can't get your round in for letting singles play through.The starter needs to trey to pair up these singles and they won't be so many trying to play as singles.
Great flowers everywhere & well kept course.
We have played here before & always enjoy ourselves. A single, walking man was put with us & he was very pleasant. Pace was a little slow because the course was packed, but we were in no hurry.
Beautiful little track.
Old school course. Tight. Many blind shots. Well kept course. Obviously a lot of pride. Greens are not USGA standard and can be difficult to hold even with high arching approach shots. Must use strategy to get the ball close. Overall an excellent course to sneak a round in when in the area.
