Royal American Links Golf Club
Royal American Links Golf Club pays homage to the birthplace of golf, the seaside links of Scotland, an inspiration that is also reflected in the architecture of the clubhouse. The 18-hole course was created in the traditional link-style but with added features not typical of the classic design including water coming into play on nearly every hole. There are also large, deep bunkers protect the sloping greens, many of which are double-tiered. Royal American Links Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 12th. Its green is guarded by a not only a large rock wall but also water to the front and left. There is a large bunker to the left of the green that will swallow any errant shots but players with a sharp short game will be able to manage.

Nice course but slightly over priced
Played this course a few weeks back and must have gotten to it before much of the summer traffic. Still a great course but may be a little over priced now that it has the wear n tear. All in all, fun course for mid-level players
Greens are in terrible shape. Bunkers not cared for. And rest of course bout the Same..it has been really try summer but I play many courses and none of them were this bad. I play courses for half the price we payed here that are far better. Wont be back
Used to be a course kept in great shape...greens were terrible, fairways burnt out and sand traps have not been maintained for months
A nice course gone bad
I have played Royal American many times over the years. The last time I played was in 2018. I am not sure what is going on with the course but its in terrible shape. Brown and/or bare spots everywhere, fairways and greens. It was disappointing as I have played cheaper courses in the area that are in much better condition. The parking lot also seemed a mess. I doubt I would go back unless I could play for $25 or less. That's all its worth now.
The course was playing very nicely. Lots of attention was given to the fairways and greens.
Had a couple tee boxes that were in poor shape Bunkers were not good. Luckily I didn’t hit onto them!
Had a blast and played in 4 hours.
played 18bin 2 hours 15 minutes as a single The course is in good shape just wish people would fix their ball marks
This course was in Terrible shape from missing hole plaques to unplayable traps to tee boxes in disarray. I can’t say very many good things about this course. They obviously have not put any money into this golf course in a very long time.
Decent course, but a little bit of a drive
It’s an alright course within the new era group. Not sure why it’s “Links” definitely not on the coast nor is it built on sandy soil. It is however a decent golf course hidden out away from everything. The pace of play is slow, but that’s typical for most public courses so that wasn’t too big of an issue. I only make the trip out there if I can get a deal, as it’s normal greens fees are a bit high for the quality of course plus the longer drive it takes to get there.
Course was in great shape, well organized. Will be back very soon
