Royal American Links Golf Club
About
Royal American Links Golf Club pays homage to the birthplace of golf, the seaside links of Scotland, an inspiration that is also reflected in the architecture of the clubhouse. The 18-hole course was created in the traditional link-style but with added features not typical of the classic design including water coming into play on nearly every hole. There are also large, deep bunkers protect the sloping greens, many of which are double-tiered. Royal American Links Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 12th. Its green is guarded by a not only a large rock wall but also water to the front and left. There is a large bunker to the left of the green that will swallow any errant shots but players with a sharp short game will be able to manage.

Course is in terrible condition. Needs to be completely renovated
Nice course
They had some dirt work being done on the course. Other than that, it is a very fun, challenging course. Nice place.
All around not worth the money.
This place used to be a great course with well kept greens and fairways. Now, for the past couple years it is always looking terrible along with the prices going up and I can respect that if the course looks great but it’s just unfortunate.
Review
I heard good things about this course and finally made it out to play. The greens were rough. Overall the course was difficult but fun.
Great layout, poor maintenance
Played as a twosome with very few players in the course. Hadn’t played this course since 2009. Very disappointed in the overall condition of the course. Greens were unmercifully slow. Sand traps were essentially dirt. It’s too bad as the layout of the course gives promise to having a great experience. The staff were very friendly. $55 included cart and green fees. Unfortunately, I don’t anticipate returning anytime soon.
Not worth $65 dollars
Course is in overall below average condition. Love the layout. But ground was in poor shape. Definitely not worth 65 dollars.
Do yourself a favor 65 bucks elsewhere if you want to swing.
Good couse
Needs TLC, bunkers are ponds, tee boxes need attention.
needs some TLC
Course needs a lot of work, not what I expected from this course having played here in the past. You can tell they are trying to improve but friendly staff.
