Local designer William Neff designed the course at Alpine Country Club, which is nestled at the base of the American Fork Canyon. This golf course has a traditional layout that is quite challenging. The fairways are medium sized in width and the greens, which are always kept in good condition, are fast. Water comes into play on at least eight holes and there are also sand bunkers throughout. The golf course is mostly flat with only a few rolling hills and elevation changes, but overall it is an enjoyable walk. The front nine was renovated in 1998 but the back nine is still considered more difficult. Alpine Country Club is also home to a golf school.

Great track, amazing greens, decent small club

Greens are fantastic. Good layout and challenging. Sand is inconsistent and wet in a lot of places. Grill at turn slow and small selection. Great practice area. Overall really like it.

Best Greens in the state

Hands down the best greens in the state i never have to repair a ball mark left behind fast and smooth some good size pines are all over the front 9 so a straight shot is needed to avoid a second shot just to miss the trees the practice areas are top notch range is a lil on the short side only thing i wish this course has was at least 1 or 2 more water shots on the front if you get a chance to play here I wouldn't pass it up guest rates roughly $70 and i'd pay that all day to play here

Great course, and excellent condition!

Alpine has been known for years to have the nicest greens in the state, and again it is true. Every part of the course is in excellent condition and is always a treat to play.

15-20 years ago the front nine was fairly plain, but with modifications to the course over the years and the maturing of the many pine trees, the front nine is very nice. The back nine has also had some changes over the last 10 years and is a really terrific layout.
