Homestead Golf Club
About
Formerly named Crater Springs Golf Course, Homestead Golf Club is located in Midway, a secluded valley between Heber and the wasatch Mountains. It was designed by Senior PGA Tour player Bruce Summerhays who lives in the area. With countryside property overlooked by 10,000 foot mountains he had a very scenic canvas to build upon. The finished course winds past red barns and meadows, up and down hills and across streams and gullies.

Great course
Moutainess terrain with a river running through the back nine. Greens are tough because of the terrain. The back is much shorter than the front. Great pro shop with resort prices.
Great Course, Great shape & Challenging
Great course! So much fun to play. Very tough from back tees but with multiple tees boxes therefore distances makes it easier but keeps the challenge for all levels.
had a wonderful day
nice view of mountains. Course was fun how it twist and turned. Tight lots of high grass to lose balls,
Not worth full price
Luckily I was able to book the tee time here for $15 through Golf Now! Was first time ever playing the course and I'm confident I wouldn't pay their full asking price of $59. Course isn't worth that much money. It's nice but not that nice. They plugged and sanded the greens the day before and still charged people full price. Greens were horrible and nearly impossible to score on.
Gem
A must play in the area. Wonderful experiece
Beautiful Area near Park City
Great layout with fast but true greens. Don't get above the hole
Beautiful Setting
This course is in the mountains not far from Park City, Utah. The scenery is absolutely beautiful! The greens were my toughest obstacle as they are undulating and quick when putting away from the mountains. It was a fun challenge and I highly recommend playing here.
Homestead
Beautiful setting- course in good shape
Mainly open with a few tight lanes
Greens challenging
Would play again
Nice course and great value
A very affordable course and challenging...for me anyway. The course was in good condition and the greens were lightning fast but held approach shots. Many of the holes require hitting to target areas and the course is narrow in general. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely play again if I get back to this area.
Great golf course
I hadn't played this course in years. But the course really was great and the staff couldn't have been more responsive. They actually worked me in early since I arrived before my tee time. They had a mobile snack bar come around several times during the round. Course was in good shape and the mountain scenery is just unbeatable. I'll be playing there again.
Lots of shade
Good course for the money
Great place to play!
The course was beautiful and it was tempting to take may photos! Choose you tees wisely and bring and extra sleeve of balls! You will love the course and the people!
Rainy Day
There was rain throughout the front nine so there was only one other group on the course. It was very nice not to have any pressure to keep pace. This allowed us to enjoy the beautiful setting and fine condition of the course. Although the course was very nice, the staff could use some extra training on how to engage and help customers. After milling around the golf shop while one in our foursome got something to eat, not one of the inside staff approached us or asked if we needed help. They were nice enough once we approached them, but could definitely use some extra customer service training. The one person who checked our bags and gave us our carts was the friendliest of all the staff.
Great cours
This was my first time at the course. It was a bit confusing to find the club house. The signs were misleading. Other than that the course was beautiful. It was such a fun place to play and I can't wait to come back and play.
Shot makers Paradise
I am NO Shot Maker, and It killed me Sunday! I played with a PRO, (I will not name him, but he is Top PGA) and he shot E.
You better have a great 3 wood, great chipping and sharpen your green reading skills because this Course will eat you alive otherwise. The PAR 3's are pretty easy, but the Gorgeous river, creeks and Ponds make them very intimidating! Grip it and Rip it on the long Par 5's, but watch for homes...lots of glass. Which reminds me...Awesome views, great pics.
The golf carts are gas but they are equipped with a GPS, BUT TOO MANY ADS ON THE DARN SCREEN
Windy and challenging greens
We enjoyed the course and the pair we were coupled with. It was an enjoyable round except for the windy conditions.
Great Views Fair and yet challenging
Pace of play very good. Nice staff from bag drop boys, Club house and food and beverage staff.
