Raccoon Valley Golf Course
About
Raccoon Valley Golf Course (formerly known as Raccoon International Golf Club) sprawls across gently rolling woodlands, featuring scenic vistas of the surrounding countryside. The course is known for being home to the longest par 5 in the state, the notorious 17th hole. This treacherous hole measures in at a devilish 666 yards that will challenge even the longest hitters. Although the terrain is mostly flat and open, there are some surprisingly dramatic undulations in the greens that will cause tricky uneven lies. There are several lakes that come into play throughout as well as a number of strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the penultimate hole, notable holes at Raccoon Valley include the par-4 eighth, which requires a 220-yard carry, and the 11th, a par 3 that plays over a lake to a two-tiered green guarded by a bunker.

The course was in Great shape but the cart paths & ponds need some work.
Go somewhere else
Mud holes throughout all the fairways. Horrible pace of play. On one par 5 there was a 4some on the green, 4some in the fairway, my group on the tee, and a group waiting on us to tee off. Total of 7 carts on one hole. Spend twice the price and go play somewhere else.
Raccoon Fun
The staff was great and the course got some much needed rain. The greens were in great shape with fair pin placements. We’ll be playing it again.
Great course for the money.
Don't waste 70 dollars on courses around the area. Raccoon is a great course for the money. Challenges every level of players. Go check it out.
Needs some improvements
Very slow play. Waiting 10-15 minutes at each tee. Coarse was rock hard in many areas like playing off concrete. That being said, it was much better the month prior. Cpl of the green had terrible burnt areas or no grass at all in spots. Coarse layout was fine. Staff friendly. Would suggest improvements or lowering the price as there are some nicer courses at cheaper prices
Needs an overhaul.. don’t recommend
This course needs some serious TLC. Started with the parking lot that is mostly tall weeds and dirt. It’s also positioned just off to the left of a fairway so be careful where you do park. Cart paths are rough and fairways are very bumpy. Greens were dry and not enjoyable to play on. I left after playing 6 or 7 holes. If you’re coming here to practice and just to swing a club but beyond that I would avoid playing this course.
Great potential
Awesome overall layout hope it continues to improve and gets back to what it was like years ago.
Very slow pace and nobody monitoring the 8some i had to follow and wouldnt let me play through. DO NOT Recommend!!!
Great course for the price
Great layout! I wish the tee boxes and fairways were more well-kept, but the recent weather probably had something to do with that. Good value for golf-now deal at $20. Wouldn’t pay much more than that though. Pace of play was slow on front 9, but picked up on the back.
