Located at the south end of the Salt Lake Valley, Riverbend Golf Course has a natural wetlands landscape. Since it follows the banks of the Jordan River, the course also offers some scenic views. Built on a rolling terrain, the links-style layout features plenty of ponds, streams, and marshes that come into play on several holes. The front nine and the back nine are quite different for some added interest. The front nine, built on a ridge, is mostly flat with large bunkers and difficult greens. The back nine starts with a scenic but difficult par 4, which has an elevated tee that offers a direct view of the Wasatch Mountains and the fairway some 100 feet below.

Good course for the money

Good course to play. I'm a new golfer (2 months) and the course was not too difficult. Mostly straight without a bunch of dog legs so it was enjoyable. My favorite course in the area.
