Glenmoor Golf Course offers an affordable eighteen holes on a well maintained, challenging course. The interesting layout has many out of bounds stakes around the greens making it truly risk-and-reward; it also features four very difficult holes to start with. The greens, although reachable, are quite difficult to read. Water hazards and bunkers also come into play on the course. Like many other courses in Utah, the Glenmoor Golf Course offers mountains views. While not the best the views are still very scenic. The golf course also features three sets of tee boxes, making it possible for all skill levels of golfers to adapt the course to their abilities.

Glenmoor is much improved

I always liked Glenmoor, mostly more the bang for the buck. It was always a decent course but good price. They have put alot of money into the course, including nice bathrooms and taking out some trees and making the overall appearance much better. With that, they raised the price a decent amount so its now the same price as all the other course in the valley.

If you live close by, its worth playing throughout the year. I like it.

great bang for the buck

I struggled with this review because I gave it 3 out of 5, but I don't want it to seem that bad. I really do like this course and play it at least once a month in the summertime. It's good location and great value for the money. They are starting to make some good improvements to the course, like actual bathrooms, and I think the changes will make a nice impact. I will re rate this course again when I play next year. But if you want to play a good course in the valley, do Glenmoor.

The clubhouse guys can sometimes cram players together, thats my other complaint. No other course like Glenmoor forces 2 players to team up with another set of 2, and that's annoying. I wish they could figure out the clubhouse and tee time situation.

My Favorite Course to Play in the Salt Lake Valley

Glenmoor Golf Club is the best kept secret in the Salt Lake Valley. It's challenging, very picturesque, and well maintained. In addition, it's very affordable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a new course to try, I highly recommend it.

Just Ok

This review is not just based on one round of golf. I've been playing here for years. The course is not city owned like most courses in the SL Valley. As such, they don't seem as concerned about customer service, or overall just being very accommodating. Nothing worse than having the staff treat you like they are the ones doing you the favor by getting you out on the course. Also, as of last year, they didn't have a junior rate, which seems a little outlandish to me. Actual course is ok. Over-priced compared to similar courses in the area. Overall an ok experience, but the way things are run is a bit of a turnoff.
