Hobble Creek is probably the most popular course in Utah County. It is a mountain course that is nestled in the canyon and has fairways that have been cut out of the trees. Be prepared to lose many balls if you don't hit them straight.

The front nine is easier than the back because the back nine fairways are very narrow and are crossed by streams. The secret to the course is not length -- just keep the ball in play.
Although the course is built in the mountains, there are not many extreme elevation changes. The course is fairly easy to walk for this reason.

The Pro Shop and cafe staff are very friendly. The food is excellent and you can order a mid-round snack from a phone located on the 9th tee. As with all Utah County Courses, bring your own beer on Sundays from another county. There is a driving range across the road. Green fees are less than $20.

Golf course in good shape. Greens great.

Very nice track. Good shape. Greens great. Pro shop very nice. The restaurant on site is horrible. 8 year old trying to take an order. Raw bacon ice cold potatos. High priced. Poorly managed. They dont care. Worst food imageable. Eat before you come to golf.

I love Hobble Creek!!

Always in perfect condition. Great layout, well kept course, beautiful scenery, great food at the snack bar (sweet potato fries are bomb). You will like this course. Just watch out for all the walkers that slow the pace of play - you gotta be one of the first tee times if you are in a hurry.

Favorite course in Utah

I love this course for so many reasons. I'll start with the one negative - there can be a lot of walkers on the course, so it can play slow if you get caught in between some walkers.

But aside from that one negative, so many positives. Each time I have played the course it has been in fantastic condition. I think the layout is beautiful in the mountains and trees. I really like how each hole feels like you're almost by yourself just because of all the trees surrounding you. It's just a great course all around.

And their food is surprisingly good. Get their chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, they are bomb!

Great mountain course

Hobble Creek GC is one of my favorite courses that I play a few times each year despite its distance from home; however, it is the only course in the area it is in and therefore very popular which slows the pace of play; it is a beautiful mountain course that is worth the drive and money; this course is not for the beginner because of the many challenging holes and trees/shrubbery that can be troublesome; otherwise, I recommend this course to those who are passionate about the game

Top course choice

Hobble Creek GC is a first rate golf course that I play as often as I can each year; the course is well maintained with a staff geared at providing a pleasurable experience; if I lived nearby, I would purchase a season pass every year; I don’t believe I would ever get tired of playing this course

Great course, favorite course, always busy

I look forward to playing this course every year multiple times, but it is always busy because it is an excellent course that is quite challenging; I would not recommend it for high handicap or beginner golfers.

Didn't meet expectations for me

I had read lots of good reviews. Young kids working in clubhouse were certainly not friendly. Golf cart batteries were pretty weak and it was having a hard time getting up hills at the end. Drunk five-some on the course was painful for everyone. Course was only ok in my opinion. Couple very pretty holes. Not much elevation change. Course was in decent shape, but nothing special IMHO. Worth playing I guess, but better choices in the area.

A Magical Course in Hobble Creek Canyon

This is by far my most favorite course here in Utah. The well-kept course, the rippling river intertwined throughout the course, the unique holes make this one worth every star. The pace of play has never been an issue for me and oftentimes when I play, I feel like I'm playing in nature without a care in the world.

I'd highly recommend this course - at $15 for 9 holes, you can't beat the quality of greens, the beauty of the course or the service at the shop. I'd keep it secret if I could but it's a gem and I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do.

One of Northern Utah's MUST Play courses

Hobble Creek is a gem of a course. It's greens are challenging. It's a short course by today's standards. We we fortunate enough to see the changing colors of early Fall. Greens are fast and have a lot of slope.

Food service isn't what it once was, but still a great burger following the round.

Gorgeous Canyon Course

Hobble Creek golf course is nestled in the canyon just outside of Springville, Utah. The conditions of the course from tee to green was immaculate. Even the rough in the bunkers were in great shape. With the mature trees and beautifully textured canyon walls this course makes for a great golf experience. The wonderful signature holes will leave a memorable experience.

;Course was in great shape, staff very friendly, good practice area, and the views were beautiful. Good pace of play. As with any mountain type course, the greens were tricky. Will definetly play again when in area. Good price too!!
