About
Located in Licking County, The Links at Echo Springs sits at the third highest point in the state. The golf course winds through mature hardwood forests and sits adjacent to a winery. At least half of the holes were carefully carved from the dense forests. The course spills across gently undulating terrain, providing a links-style touch to the layout. The rolling, tree-lined fairways are narrow and the large greens are lightning fast. There are also a few double-tiered greens to watch out for. The course's challenges come mostly from the numerous bunkers that are treacherously lurking throughout. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The layout has a fair amount of challenges but it is still gentle enough for beginners to enjoy as well.

Good value for the money
The course has a decent layout with a good variety of holes. The greens were smooth but very slow. The fairways are a little shaggy, and the traps are pretty firm. 4 sets of tees which are fair for all levels. We drove 40 mins to play this course, i probably wouldnt be back mainly for that reason. There are definately nicer courses closer and for a comparable price. I would play again if asked by a buddy, but wouldnt choose to play this course myself
Excellent Staff and Facility
I have been to Echo Springs many times over the years, and it never seems to disappoint. It's a little ways out on the east side, but is definitely worth the drive. The layout is challenging and also varies from hole to hole. The first 5 holes go through the woods, then the next 4 battle elevation changes but are pretty open. The course meanders through the woods and provides scenic views on just about every hole, minus a few holes here and there. The part about coming to this course that I really appreciated wasn't the course itself, but the staff. I work late most days, so to be able to get out later in the day and get in 18 holes as it's turning to dusk is just about all I have time for. Can't tell you how many courses I've been to that will treat you poorly, clearly because they don't want to be there and want to go home. I don't know what the guys name is, but he was extremely friendly and let us finish up as it was turning dark. He even was joking around with us as we were leaving, instead of getting the normal evil eye telling us to get the heck out. He didn't bat an eye. I promised the guy I would write him a good review, so I hope he sees this. Course is awesome, staff is extremely friendly, and beer is cold! You will enjoy this course!

A real Gem
First time playing Echo Springs and this was a real treat. While all courses are green this year, this course is well manicured with lush, weed free rough and excellent greens. Bunkers which are usually lacking at most courses were in great shape. The course is well laid out with a variety of tees and hole lengths and gorgeous scenery. Even the hot dog at the turn was delicious. I wish it was closer, but it's well worth the drive!

Course in Fine Shape Considering Recent Rain
Played yesterday morning at 8:50AM. Several holes were cart path only due to recent rain but more could have been considering the standing water. However, the course was in excellent shape, the grass cut and bunkers worked. We have played there several times and are never disappointed.

Great Day Off
Course was pretty good. We have had a lot of rain recently and the staff had been unable to mow for several days. Greens were quite nice, j would certainly play this course again.

Love this course
Hidden gem, at least I think it's hidden. Nice layout and well maintained. It would be hard to beat this place for the price. Location might be the downside. Please try this course.

Nice layout
This course has a nice variety of tight and wide open holes, with a few strategically placed sand traps. We played on the day following 19 straight days of rain - it was cart path only, which is not a lot of fun, but understandable. There were some wet spots, but the course was in pretty good shape, considering. This course offers 5 sets of tees, so you can make it as challenging as you want. Lots of really good holes that will reward good shots. 50 miles away, but will definitely play again.

Great course
Found the staff to be friendly and the course to be in great shape. It has rained for several days before playing and the maintenance crew has done a good job. They also have awesome hotdogs.

Played with two old friends on a beautiful June day. We teed off early so initially found the wet greens to be a tad slow. The recent rainy weather probably caused the mowing to be a little behind schedule. At the turn we enjoy a cold drink and sandwich in the grill before playing the back nine. All in all, we shared a very nice day playing a well maintained course, and certainly plan a return visit.

Not bad
Overall the course was decent aside from the dandelion problem and clumps of dead grass left by the mower. It was fairly deserted so play was quick which was nice.

Front Nine vs Back Nine?
This course is great for ball placement off the tees. The front nine is wide open and the back nine is shorter but more challenging. Stay out of the woods if you want to score well. (too many dandelions for May)

I bought this on a Hot Deal for $10. It was well worth that and probably would've paid double if not triple based on the conditions of the course. Excellent shape for this time of year. Great design and layout.

Great course, club house needs some love
Course was in great condition as usual. One of the best courses for the price in central ohio as far as Im concerned. Incredible price for a weekend on Golfnow. $15. Especially if you walk. As of 4/5/15 the range wasnt open yet and tee boxes were not setup yet either. Also the club house needs some love and a little cleaning of the restrooms is needed as well.

enjoyable course
A bit windy due to elevation but ohh what nice views of the area. We played senior tees and is moderatly easy but still lots of fun. Good friends, good course!

Fun par fours
The par fours were fun. Enticing you to go for it off the tee. Not easy but hitting driver may lead to trouble.
that's my second links course I played and it's better than the first one I played
it's a very good course to learn on I've been playing two and a half years ,I like the way to green slope also.
