Great fun.
Nice course. Great weather for December. The course was not very busy and we were able to finish in about 3 1/2 hours.
A few really difficult holes
Beautiful golf course. I had trouble getting over the canyon but will try harder next time. Only negative, some local players were rude to us.
Mr.
The greens are very fast and a little tricky I would play again.
A must play course
Great variety of challenges, but bring a gps as course markings are few.
Women beware
This is not a great course if you are a higher handicap and not a long hitter. Holes 5 and 6 require a significant carry over the canyon. Hole 11 has a long carry over water. The lay up options aren't that great. Hole 16 also has a significant carry over the canyon. The course is fine if you are a long hitter and offers some unique holes. We got a great deal at $15 each with power cart but I wouldn't pay full price.
Not just another round of golf!
This course offers a wide variety of challenges. Some holes are fairly straightforward others are very tricky and challenging. If you let yourself be lulled into complacency by the conventional holes, your smug attitude will disappear when you hit the very challenging and creative holes that pop up on this course. Be prepared for a challenge. Not terribly long but the slope correctly reflects the character of this course.
Challenging course
Can be a challenging course, generally good condition some of the Tee Boxes are in need if re sodding
Great Little Course
Just played 9 holes with my wife and it was very relaxing. The course is in great condition and some nice challenging holes on the front nine.
Very Scenic Course in "Color Country"
A fairly challenging course in beautiful condition in the distant shadows of Zion NP. The scenic mountain vistas are colorful and breathtaking. Some carries are over deep canyons and the greens are fast and fair. I am a decent golfer but my 75 yr old self struggled on some holes from the senior tees. It's a good test for any golfer. My 7 hndcp. Son struggled a bit from the tips. We were behind some slow seniors, so the rnd was nearly 5 hrs. We usually play 18 holes in 3 to 3 1/2hrs. For $39 the rnd was an excellent value and cart was included. I did lose six balls which is rare for me. You cannot go wrong playing Green spring using GolfNow.com for excellent rates.
Great course
This course has got to be in the top 5 courses I've played in the last 10 years! Several challenging holes and absolutely beautiful back drops!
Greens roll out nicely.
Nice day for golf!
It was a beautiful day for golf but the course was still real wet from the rain storm that hit the St George area earlier in the week. The greens were nice shape and the ball rolled real well. The rough was long and thick but not too bad. The course has some tough holes and without a GPS, your guessing the distance. I would play this course again.
Course was in terrific shape.
Greens fairways were in great condition and well groomed. I would recommend this course to everyone.
its gettin hot out there
Course in decent condition for the middle of the summer in a desert. 102 deg. Greens rolled about a 10 on the Ol stimp. Greens pretty beat up with divits, but not nearly as bad as I've seen before. Fun layout with some challenging holes. Played from the tips which require a few tough teeshots. Overall worth a play!
Grounds Crew
We played early morning, the grounds crew just ignored us, normally they pull off the fairway and stop. Not these folks, kept right on mowing, we finally decided to play through them on several holes.
Course is good shape, (due to all the grounds crews).
Staff in clubhouse a bit disinterested.
Stunning views on several of the holes.
great course
course was in great condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. negatives were:
we played at midday and water stations were empty.
pace of play on the front was great.back nine very slow.threesome with a beginner golfer who would not let anyone through.
nice course
friendly staff, course was in good condition, had a great time. willl be back.
course in good shape
Lots of courses in town aerating but Green Springs greens were great
Review
Green springs is great golfnow.com costed me more money than just going to the course though.
Nice course
They had punched the greens two weeks before and you couldn't tell. Lush fairways and quick greens. Great value @$39. I would play it again.
Great course
Very beautiful course, and professional staff. Best public course in the area
