Lakeside Golf Course
About
Originally a nine-hole course when opening in 1966, Lakeside Golf Course expanded to 18 holes in 1993. The course, located close to downtown Salt Lake City, boasts views of the Wasatch Mountains. It is suitable for players of all abilities. The course was built on relatively flat terrain that features plenty of water. Half of the holes have water hazards coming into play. Lakeside Golf Course makes accuracy a priority rather than distance with several out of bounds areas and holes that are short and tight. The facility also has a practice range as well as putting and chipping areas for golfers to use.

Reviews
Lakeside- Bountiful, UT
overall a good course. flat course with some suttle water hazards
Great Value
Price was great, staff was great. Greens were in terrific shape, putted true. Front nine played slowly, back nine only took 1 hour. Recommend this for anyone wanting a fun course at a great price.
Not terrible
I’ve golfed so many courses all over the west, picked this course off of GolfNow. Tee time was 12:32, it wasn’t terribly busy...however, 5 minutes to 1 I went and asked how much longer until I could tee off. They said “oh yah, you’re from GolfNow, we forgot to put you in the line up. It will be a few more minutes” crazy!!! I checked in at 12:15...the course had a lot of garbage on it. Other than that it was an ok experience
Nice cause
nice . Bring bug spray. The bugs will carry you away.
Great course for most golfers
The staff is extremely friendly; we play there often because of quick play and an extremely attentive staff.
Laid back friendly atmospher
I really like this course because the staff is always friendly and accommodating. It's always a great values but GolfNow has taken it to the next level in that area. Call ahead on the 9th.... brats are just the ticket for the back 9!
the sponge
Players don't fix ballmarks or divots, tee boxes undulate like a green, staff does what it can but you can't stand over someones shoulder and make sure they are courteous or have any etiquette. Great course to learn on for young and older golfers. Course layout let's you finish in 2 hours and there's not a lot of time that you have to look for your ball (it is easy to see the flight your ball and its proximity). Easy to get out in short notice and if clubhouse can fit you they will. Overall I have been playing this course for years, it's where I started to play when I was still in high school and I still play it because of its location and convenience.
Great condition
The course is in great shape and the play moved at a great pace. Not a great course but a good solid course I would recommend to anyone.
Great course for all level players
I play this course several times a year; the course has challenging holes but is an easy walking course; the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating.
Fun course for relaxing round
Lakeside is an easy walking course that provides the average golfer a good round to play a shorter course; holes #12 & #13 are very challenging, strategic holes.
First Round
First time playing the course. It was a better course than I had expected, both son and I had a very pleasant and enjoyable day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you, GolfNow, for the introduction and discount to this course. We look forward to future discounts and enjoyment of this course.
Best Value
I hadn't played this course in years. I played in the National Long Drive, pro am event recently and was impressed in the great condition of the course and the greens are great! I have played many of the courses in Utah and find that the greens here are the best I have played. I enjoy walking a course and during the heat of the summer - this is a nice venue to walk and the mature trees and water are also very nice.
