A Small Town Gem in Vermont

Small, quaint and humble may be your first impressions, but this 9 hole course has a good mix of challenging shots and holes. A few nice shorter par 3s to test your higher irons, only one par 5, but still you can get some nice long drives in on holes 5, 7 and 8 and stretch out your play. Really open, you won't lose a ton of balls unless you shank them pretty bad or hit into one of the snapping turtle ponds.

Considering the place is in a major flood plain and in the early Spring is totally underwater, the upkeep of the folks running the place is a labor of intense love and it's shocking how great they are able to maintain the course.

The staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell they love this place. Holes are easy to get to/sequential and well marked.

Pro shop is simple but well stocked and has everything you need and a good variety for the size (if you forgot something or need golf balls). No "club house" restaurant or bar or anything like that, but snacks and drinks available to go in pro shop. Just up the hill on Main Street is Colatina (bar, Italian/Pizza/Burger joint) and The Little Grille. Close, good options if you wanted to grab a bite and a beer before or after your round.

A true gem in the Upper Valley. I feel mighty lucky to have it so close to home.
