Darby Creek Golf Course
About
Formerly home to the Ohio Orchard Company, four cherry trees still mark the entrance to Darby Creek Golf Course. The unique layout has two distinctly different nines. The course starts with a windswept link-style nine accented by native grasses and sand bunkers, providing an excellent representation of Scottish tradition. Carved from the forests of maple trees, the back nine is an entirely different experience. The layout has a more traditional American design with tree-lined fairways and greens as well as several strategically placed lakes coming into play. Darby Creek Golf Course's two nines combine to form a true shot-maker's course that balances options like split fairways and short par 4s with more challenging demands. It is at the same time kind to higher handicappers thanks to open fairways, bailout areas, and few greenside hazards.

High school leagues
If you are able to squeeze in 9 or even 18 holes after work during the week, you may want to avoid this course. It really is in great condition, but you'll be treated poorly by the leagues and you'll never finish your round.
great course with a friendly enviornment
The golf course was in great shape with very little play allowing us to maintain a great pace of play... the golf course staff were energized and helpful
The Course needs work
I haven't played there since last year and was not what I remembered. There is alot of clover and crabgrass especiall in fringe of greens. The greens were not very smooth and the general conditon of rhe course has really gone downhill. We only paid $40 that included range balls, food and a beer so it was a good value.
Great value course
Can't beat the quality of golf for the price. Fairways and greens are in great shape. However, I would not recommend an early morning tee time if you don't play well in wet conditions. They over water the course in the mornings.
Darby Is Great
Course is in perfect condition and the staff was very helpful from the pro shop to the cart guy, starter and the beverage girl. We will be going back often.
Not too bad to play again and again
The overall course is just average, greens are spotting from all the ball marks!! Fairway are spotting too! Bunkers were in great shape. Stuck behind 2 senior player for the front nine, past them in the turn, finished within 3 1/2 hrs. Back 9s are more challenging with all the trees and out of bounds.
Way Too Wet
The course was way over watered and had many areas of standing water. This was not from rainfall but from over watering of the course. the greens had so many ball marks that weren't repaired it was kinda sad because the ball did roll very well considering. I liked the lay out but the wetness just took away a lot of the fun.
Nice course..plenty of features for the money
Played at 648am. First off the tee and cannot beat the price. If this course were closer to Columbus it would cost $20 more than they are charging. Bentgrass tee to green. Bunkers are raked. As always wish more golfers would fix their ball marks on the greens. Good value.
Darby creek
This is a good course. Everything is good. Nothing outstanding. There is the links 9 and the woods 9. I really couldn't see difference. I'd go again
Hit it straight
This course is one of my favorites in Central Ohio. The greens are always true and in great shape. I've found that no hole on this course is an easy birdie opportunity. Darby Creek makes you earn them! My advice to the first time player is "HIT IT STRAIGHT"
Great value for price
I have played this course and I love it. not only is it challenging but not too expensive and well taken care of
High School Administrator
This golf course was in great shape. It has always had a great design with fun holes as well as those that punish you for your mistakes. It is worth a drive to play it.
Love the course
Pace of play was an issue, 4 some in front of us could care less we were waiting on them for every shot and wouldn't let us play through.
Nice course it deserves a second chance
Nice and smooth fairways, greens are in fair condition over all a very well kept course
rainy but fun
Course in good shape, quick greens. Back nine a bit tougher than the front. 18th is a real challenge. Rained hard during the back nine, but was able to finish the round. Darby one of my favorite courses in the area.
Darby Creek Golf Course
The front nine holes are open and are not to hard. The back 9 holes is tree lined and very difficult. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Scott was outstanding and made you fell really welcome. It was a hot day and he even brought me some water to drink so I would not get over heated.
Great course and staff
The temperature was only 40 degrees when we started and the course was wet from the previous rains but in playable condition. We were amazed by the courtesy of the ground staff and friendliness of club house staff. We are planning on playing again when the weather is warmer and dryer.
very nice course
course was in average shape for early in the year, greens rolling very true, will be going back soon, great deal off of golfnow
Winter Rust
I always enjoy playing this course. We played this course today under challenging conditions. The course was wet from the previous rain and it was very windy. The only thing I disliked was how rough the greens were from the airification done last season (compared to the others I have played), they must have done them too late. The course like myself was showing some signs of winter rust, However already planning on going back around memorial day weekend, it's just a great track to play!
Fun, but windy
We enjoyed it, but it was windy. I will go back! Staff in clubhouse was very friendly. The course was in good shape.
