Darby Creek Golf Course
About
Formerly home to the Ohio Orchard Company, four cherry trees still mark the entrance to Darby Creek Golf Course. The unique layout has two distinctly different nines. The course starts with a windswept link-style nine accented by native grasses and sand bunkers, providing an excellent representation of Scottish tradition. Carved from the forests of maple trees, the back nine is an entirely different experience. The layout has a more traditional American design with tree-lined fairways and greens as well as several strategically placed lakes coming into play. Darby Creek Golf Course's two nines combine to form a true shot-maker's course that balances options like split fairways and short par 4s with more challenging demands. It is at the same time kind to higher handicappers thanks to open fairways, bailout areas, and few greenside hazards.

Woud like to play again during the summer
Really good condition for this time of year. Could tell that in season it must look and play wonderful. Staff was very friendly!
Already planned to come back again.
I am a new golfer and always wanted some good but REAL practice time by myself rather than on driving range. Came to the course on a Sunday afternoon. Cool, sunny and clear. 'Slowly' played through 18 holes and learnt a lot I cannot see on driving range. Staff is super nice and friendly and it eased my concern of being a novice player. Already started talking with a couple of friends to plan an outting here.
On a rainy day this course was super dry
Had a prepaid tee time. Would not have gone to the course if it had not been prepaid due to the rain. Rain quit on #2 Our group was the only ones one the course...had a blast
Golfnow is a great idea and it works perfectly
Darby Creek has combination of link and american style layout. fund and well maintained. Little bit remote but accessable.
Solid Golf Course
Very interesting layout, the front is relatively short and open and the back is longer and tighter. Good mixture of reachable and three shot par 5s, long and short par 4s and solid par 3s. The course was in excellent condition. The bunkers were maintained, the fairways in good condition and the greens rolled reasonably quick and true. There are a few holes you definitely want to keep the ball below the hole. It was a very pleasant golfing experience.
Great Coarse
Coarse was in great condition. Staff was very friendly. It's worth the drive. 1 of the few coarse a that haven't let the coarse go over the years
One of my favorite public courses in Central Ohio. .
Two distinctly different 9's. Always friendly staff. Challenging without getting beat up. Always on my "short list" of places to play.
Excellent Experience
Super friendly staff, and really fun course. Easy to get to from Dublin
Very nice course
Darby Creek is a fine place to play. This was my first trip out here in many years, and I'm very glad I went. The course is generally well maintained, although the sand traps could use some better maintenance. I wouldn't hesitate to return again.
Darby was in great shape.
This time of year, some of the courses in central Ohio tend to get run down and out of shape. That was not the case at Darby Creek. It was in great shape.
Great green's
41--42--83 great day for a 18 handicap
Course was in great shape
Excellent!
Darby Creek is a great gem in the Columbus area. The tee boxes are in great shape and the fairways are cut well and well maintained. The greens can be a bit challenging if one is not used to faster greens (I am not). Overall, everything is in fine shape and for a Hot Deal on Golf Now, I'd play this course all day.
Nice course to play
We were the 1st group to play before an outing. We finished within 3 1/2 hours. Back 9 is more difficult than the front none. Accuracy from the tee is required. Some of the greens are spotty.
course in great shape, as always
darby creek is one of the best central ohio courses !! Always on the top of my fave 5 list, no matter how I shoot. !!
We always enjoy playing Darby Creek. Great course!!!!!!
Darby Creek is one of our favorite courses in the area. It was nice that we were able to get a great rate from GolfNow to play on a Friday. We will definitely use the site to book other courses in the area that are comparable. I would recommend Darby Creek for anyone at any level to play.
Good Course, Reasonable Price
Course has a solid layout and was in very decent condition considering all the recent rain. Greens could be faster, but this would probably slow the pace of play down for the average golfer. Recommended for those looking for a moderately challenging golf course which places an emphasis on course management and short game. Going low is a definite possibility if you're hitting your target on full shots.
I want to go as many times.
This course is a little difficult and very very clean.
Good Course
Fair golf course. Links front, tree lined back. Good challenge.
Anyone ever heard of a divot tool?
Usually don't have issues with DC, but today it seemed like every green was rolling differently. Someone didn't look to be mowed that morning & there were way too many divots unrepaired on multiple greens. Course management might do well to give away free divot repair tools one day so these all get fixed.
