Hanover Golf Club

I played the scores for Friday and enjoy my Ram. Nice layout Toug, but fair. I played on Friday because my golf club was playing there on Saturday. When we arrive 4 hours, 745 amt. Time on saturday. We were told that there was some confusion, and we would not be able to get off until 11. The Course management made no attempt. To rectify the situation. I played all over the country and I've never been so embarrassed and disappointed.. For that reason, I probably won't return to play the course again. Even though it's a very nice track.. I guess I said mention that my golf club is a black golf club. With on that day, 15 of us left was nowhere to play..

Overall the course was in very good condition. The greens looked great but rolled very slow. Tee boxes were good. Bunkers good. Pace of play was slow with waiting every shot. The course does not go back to the club house until the last so No rest areas or beverage cart. Water was provided through the course. I will play the course again as there are some very nice holes.

Receptive greens. The only room for improvement are the bunkers. Some are sandy. Most are dirt and unplayable

Solid track. My second time playing, great conditions - first time seeing the back 9 though.

Great variety of holes, especially on the 4s and 5s. Par 3s are what they are - similar shots / distances on each. Could use more variety.

It’s a tale of two 9s - front 9 is tight, tree lined, and has great variety of elevation changes. Accuracy off the tee is important - less than driver is the right play on much of the front 9.

Back 9 is more open and more forgiving on most holes off the tee. One tight tee shot one the back that I can remember at the back of the property. The greens on the back 9 are more well protected than the front. Tougher to get it close to the hole on your approach. Get the right number, and make sure you miss is in the right spot.

Solid track, pace of play is great, conditions are solid. An enjoyable round overall. Will be back!

Got paired with a 3some of guests and played in 3 and a half hours. Was called out for playing slow by the group behind us and had the Marshall come out even though we finished in under 4 hours. Stuffy place without any luxury.

The greens were the slowest greens I’ve played in Virginia and the round was $80.

They think they’re something they’re not. Do not recommend.

Great layout ever hole is different instead of like alot of other places that are flat with little obstacle.

Course is in decent shape, most bunkers needed work....grass is still coming in, greens were receptive. Last played this course a few yrs ago, didn't look any different since then.

Staff friendliness excellent. Course layout ok, a lot of side hills make for some holes where you can't miss fairways and greens. Fairways too brown. Greens very good.

Green is good, fairway is had and bald, iron shot is tough
