Good for the money

The Bruin has always been the step child of the golf center. It is used for parking during the tennis tournaments which goes to show how it is thought of. Today the course was in good condition the only complaint would be that the goose droppings was all over the greens making it hard to put. However for the money you can't do much better than this. The course isn't very tricky but it would be a great starter course for someone out for their first time.

Nice Friday outing!

The course was located near Kings Island and was easy to get too. The course was in good shape and enjoyable to play. Most of the holes were par 3 and was a great course for the first time out for the year. We will return to play again.

Good course for a quick 9

My wife and I played on a Sunday morning. This is a good course to work on a few things and get some fresh air.

The patio is open and they have music on Friday & Saturday nights.

Water the course please and pick up the rocks.

The tee boxes were so hard that I could hardly get the tee into the ground. There are more rocks on the course than ever. I hit a perfect shot on the second hole into the fairway and it hit rock and bounced left into the interstate. A couple of hours of work and a few thousand gallons of water will make this a lot better course.

Great value

First time at the course and was impressed. The course was described to me as a short par 4 course, and I think that the statement is accurate when playing from the blue tees. The white tees might make it a long par 3. This course is definitely good for practicing your short game. It was moderately difficult because the course wasn't "open", i.e., fairways are narrower than other courses that I've played. Greens were in good shape. I will replay this course.

Par 3 walkable

If you like to walk while playing this is a good course. It's great for beginners and if you want to practice the short game aspect of golf. Great for kids.

Overall, a very fun course to play. Beautiful!

The greens were a little lacking but that's someone what to be expected this late into the year

Iron work

If you want to work on your iron game, I would suggest Kings Island Bruin. A lot of short holes (less than 200 yards). But can usually book a tee time for less than $15. Not too many hazards, bunkers on some holes I think water on one or two holes.

Great quick course

The Bruin is a par 3 course and should be proud of it. A lot of golfers are "too good" for the course. Hardly. Everyone could use more practice on par 3's and wedge work. So go to the range for an hour or go play the Bruin for an hour? Which sounds more fun? For me it is the Bruin. I love this little course. Unless you can break par on the course you aren't "too good" for it.

very short course.

This course is very short and the rough was very high. I lost several balls that should have been easy to find. Also, course has not cart paths.

Great practice course. Can get a little log jammed though

2 holes are under 100yds 2 holes are over 220 got a lot of use out of my irons on the course but if that's what you need some help with its great. With a cart I finished in an hour and 20 minutes.

Great for the beginner

It is the perfect spot for the golfer just learning to play. My wife is new to golf and is a bit intimidated on a big course. The longest par 4's are slightly over 300 yards from the blues (we played the whites) and it was not crowded for a Saturday afternoon. If you like the driver, stick to The Grizzly but if your looking for a quick round or a you are not ready to take on the big course just yet this is a nice option.

Nice course for beginners.

My son recently got the fever so I have been taking him to executive courses in our area. We played 18 holes at The Bruin; Kings Island Golf Centers executive course. Although the course was in somewhat rough condition, primarily due to the weather, the greens were in fair condition. It is a great starter course for the novice. We had a blast!
