Second Time
It's an excellent course and highly recommend to other golfers. We got paired up with a couple of guys and it was their home course. Since my wife is not a big hitter, I could tell it was an issue. These guys were taking phone calls on the course and holding up our pace of play and not really because of my wife. I spent my time helping them find their balls which both were playing Army golf. These guys left us on the 8th hole, and I wish I would have recommend that they left sooner. It's not the course issue who you get paired up with.

Visually Impressive; Layout Forces risk/Reward Decisions
TLDR: Visually impressive, challenging course with large undulating greens. Welcoming and friendly staff. Playing time was exactly 4.5 hours with great pace of play. PAR is a great score on any hole.
My 1st experience playing this course. I was met at my car by a cart to take my clubs to the clubhouse and load them on the cart. Free range balls and putting green. Driving range is hitting mats, not grass, but they accept tees.
We had a 3:30 tee time an hit off at the appointed time. The course was in great shape, and visually, very impressive, with rolling fairways, elevation changes, and strategically placed FW bunkers and natural hazards. The fairways invite you to hit driver, but if you answer the call and power draw or slice your drive, be prepared to find your ball in a bunker or to go search for it in the woods.
The greens were soft and very accepting of approach shots and are large with various elevations, spines and tough pin placement. Putting required careful study of the slopes and breaks. Some greens were a bit fuzzy, but probably just due to our afternoon tee time. I really wish golfers would fix their ball marks on the greens.
Upon returning to the clubhouse after an exactly 4.5 hour round, we were greeted with very welcomed cold hand towels to cool off and refresh us after the round.
Overall, this is one of the best courses I've played in the DMV area and I will be back, often.

Great course, great layout. Always a lot of fun to play Westfields. Some of the greens are a little bit beat up but other than that it’s a fantastic round of golf

Excellent Experience
Westfields has always had a ‘top shelf’ reputation and my round this weekend was no different. Staff and course amenities are excellent. The hot dog stand at the turn is quick and convenient and they had in course water stations, even w the Covid nonsense. The course/bunkers were in great shape although a few of the greens had ‘muni’ divots everywhere…I.e. no one bothered to repair their divot so now it’s either a hole or a dead spot. Rough was pretty thick so be warned. Overall a quality round and pretty reasonable @ $100 when Raspberry/Bull Run want $130-140 for similar tee times. The cold towels offered at the end of the round are a nice touch. I’ll be back.
