WORTH THE DRIVE AND TIME
I've Been Wanting To Play Meadow Farms For Over Ten Years and Finally Made it out to Play it on Friday & Saturday 9/15-16/2017. Well What Took You So Long ? It's not like its right around the corner. If you Love Golf,Just like me you're Gonna Be KICKING Yourself for waiting so Long. The Property Is Fabulous , the layout is Fun and Fair. The Creativity of the design is Genius. The Have Three Nines, " The Island Nine, which has multiple Island Greens hence the name, The Longest - which entails the Longest Hole in America According to the Gueness Book of Records at 841 yard Par 6 , Yep you heard it right. Finally the Waterfall Nine which has a par Three on top of a Waterfall which is Beautiful." The Greens where extremely Fast you have to stay below the hole unless you're a Glutton for Punishment. Finally the Last thing that I would like you to know is about the Ownership and staff. NEVER Have I been to a Course where the people Loved Golf and Cared more about there Customers. They did everything except " Make My Birdie Putts For Me on Those Really Fast Greens" . Kenny and his Loyal Group of people where OUTSTANDING. A Not So Funny Thing Is Happening In Our Country Concerning Golf. These Jewels of Golf courses are going out of Business. Just heard This week that the Famed " Bulle Rock " In Havre de Grace Is Up for sell again and possibly Going out of Business. So PLEASE GO OUT AND SUPPORT KENNY and his Group at Meadow Farms, I PROMISE YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED. I Highly Reccomended This Golf Course. Also They have a Cabin on Property that Sleeps 8 for Unlimited Golf for $89.00 Bucks, per/person. Golf and Accomadations WHAT A BARGAIN.....!!!
Beautiful course
This course was beautiful. I really enjoyed playing the different holes. I played 18 and each hole was amazing.
Has potential
I know that it is not full blown golf season, but I thought that the course was in pretty poor condition. I was excited to see the waterfall and baseball diamond hole but apparently it has not ran for quite a long time. And the ball diamond look like it hasn’t been touched in several years. The longest hole was fun and I would agree with some of the other reviews that there are several unique holes. I think if they really buckle down the course has a lot of potential. After reviewing their website, and how much I paid to play, I was expecting better not quite a dog track but maybe just a step up
This course is beautifully designed
I came to play scramble with 2 friends who are fairly new to golf and we had such a great time. There is no question that we will be back.
If you're looking for a fun and challenging golf course that's sure to please, look no further than Meadows Farm Golf Course! As a new Yorker myself, I was blown away by the friendly staff and the beautifully designed course.
The staff at Meadows Farm are top-notch, with a warm and welcoming attitude that makes you feel right at home. They're always happy to help with any questions or needs you may have, and they really know how to make you feel like part of the family.
But let's talk about the course itself - wow, is it a doozy! The holes are well-designed and challenging, with plenty of obstacles to keep things interesting. The fairways and greens are in great shape, and the scenery is simply gorgeous. As a new golfer, I appreciated the variety of holes and the fact that there are plenty of options for players of all skill levels.
Overall, I had an amazing time at Meadows Farm Golf Course, and I can't wait to go back! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie like me, this course is sure to provide a fun and memorable experience. So grab your clubs and head on over - I promise you won't be disappointed!"
Great Course with Friendly Staff and a WARM UP HOLE!
First time playing and had a great time. John, the starter, was super friendly and walked us through how the course plays and even showed up on the course to check in on us. The warm-up hole is super helpful for those times you are rusty. Will be making this a regular course in the golf rotation.
New Year’s Day
We played in snow flurries and enjoyed having the course mostly to ourselves. Winter conditions prevailed but the leaves were largely cleared. Watch out for the ponds on the par 6 hole. They are over the rises in the fairway and slope dramatically to the water.
Two 👍's up!

Without a doubt, THE best course in the Fredericksburg area!
Loved it
Just fun. What golf is meant to be.. Can't wait to get back to play all 27.

CPO for Dry Course ?
Course Mgmt Issues Warning: 3 days prior course had significant rain, the day prior it had drizzled so Course Super called for CPO (Cart Path Only) and the Range was also closed. We took it in stride but as played the course, the course was DRY. Frustration grew with each progressive hole played, walking over dry fairways. We heard earlier in the summer had CPO for too dry of conditions. Fairways and rough are Bermuda, the most weather resistant turf there is. Not the only course where the Super has a Prima Donna disposition. Based upon other reviews, its reflected in those too.
Course layout is good. Fairways and Greens in great shape. Greens rolled frequently. I'd play the course again but would call in advance to see if any special course conditions set by Mgmt exist.
