Located in Springfield, Locust Hills Golf Club offers 36 holes of championship golf. The Locust and Maple Courses serve as the home courses for many of the area's high school golf teams since the layouts offer both variety and playability. Both courses are also immaculately manicured. The Locust Course is the shorter of the two at just over 6570 yards. It is slightly less challenging than the other golf course but the occasional water hazard or sand trap does come into play. There are also rough areas but they are kept at a modest height. Combined, both layouts cover over 280 acres of gently rolling hills. There is ample room available to hold in errant shots, but there are also some subtle but tricky elevation changes.

Nice mature course

The Maple course is well maintained and more of a challenge than it looks. It is the more challenging of the two eighteen hole courses on site. Several tree lined fairways and old style doglegs. It is a good value for the money and the staff is friendly and courteous. Played in just over 3.5 hours during the week as a twosome.

Maple course is better than the Locust

This place has 2 courses, the Maple and the Locust. The Maple is more challenging than the Locust, but both courses are okay. They are a decent value for the money.
