I cannot say that I loved playing here today because the fairways were simply too uneven! Other than that it is a nice course!

Always a good time
It's always a good day playing Newport News GC. it had rained the day before and was 90 degrees. But the course is in good shape and the pace was fine. I will definently return for more rounds. Great prices on TEE OFF will make that possible.

Played this course in the past and was never disappointed It’s challenging but fun overall. Still see Deers walking around as always. They add to the beauty of the course.

Good value,,decent course
In visiting Williamsburg area from Michigan I have played two courses and detected higher prices in this area. But deer run course was filled with 12 deer that seemed to enjoy the course. I golfed with myself and moved quickly. I was offered the other course but it was much busier. The workers were all friendly and kind.

Amazing course for the price
Can’t get any better weather your a good or bad golfer for the money no negatives besides maybe the pace but still it was on 4 hours

Good day at Newport News
First time at Newport News, played the Deer Run Course, even saw a few deer. Great front desk staff, greens were in great shape but the fairways were a little sparse. Pace of play was good at the start but slowed at the end. Overall a good day on the links.

Green tee boxes (forward tees) were like concrete; otherwise not bad, a little dry and barren in places on the fairways. Nice course otherwise
