Solid Valley Course
The Staunton Country Club, now called Ironwood is a solid test. The course is in good condition and greens run true. The par fives are all of a solid length to make scoring even more challenging and there are no gimick holes. If you havent played it yet, the circa $40 green fees is a fair price for a good local track.
Great Course that has everything
This is my favorite course in that area. It’s really good to test your game. Has a big variety of holes. It’s a really nice well kept course and the score travels. I consider Ironwood to be a bigger course. Carts are really nice as well.
Beauty in the Rough
This was my first time playing here. I only played the front 9 but overall was impressed with the course. They had just aerated and top dressed the greens recently but no complaints on that, it's necessity. I did notice as others have mentioned that the rough is cut longer than many of the other local courses which does make finding your off line shots more of a challenge. Course was in good shape and pace of play was excellent. Will definitely visit again.
Challenging coarse
This coarse is very straightforward however it is in the mountains which makes it very challenging with ups and downs. I wil definitely be playing this coarse again
Ironwood
Great course with electric carts. The greens are the best in the public playing area. The 19th hole is a nice plus. Including a full bar and great food.
Great day of golf
I’ve played this course several times before! It’s always I good condition! Some of the greens have some wear to tear tho! But all in all it was an enjoyable experience!
