no water
as it was almost 90 degrees outside I was shocked to find no water buckets on the course at all as usual. when I asked the starter he simply said we are working on new buckets. horrible to not provide water for anyone, or even tell golfers there is no water on the course
Good value for the money
Snagged a hot deal on Golfnow and only paid $12 plus tax. Walked 18 holes in a couple hours hitting multiple shots per hole. I teed off around 10 am and only a smattering of other golfers around. A great course to work on iron play and wedges. Holes range from 90 yards to close to 200 yards. The gentleman in the pro shop was very nice and welcoming and although the greens were a bit slow, I can't really complain about my experience. Really fun little course!
great for what it is
a reasonably priced par three - perfect for beginners - easy walking
Good course for irons
This is a short Par 3 course, they have improved this course a great deal from year past. Good course for beginners. Also has a great price!
Good, fast course to work on your short game.
Great value for your money. It's a 3-par 18-hole course, but with enough challenges to keep your interest for a beginner/average golfer. I'm a novice weekend golfer, but found there was enough variety to use almost any/all of my irons and even a 5 or 3 wood. You probably won't need your driver for this course, though. 18 holes will take you about 2.5 hours, max. I will DEFINITELY go back to this golf course. I did not use the club house facilities.
Nice course and good price
Field condition is good. But there are aeration on green. Staff in grill is very kind.
Price was the only benefit
Tee boxes were like hitting out of the rough. Greens were like hitting onto a soft patchy sponge. Maybe the worst part was the constant barrage of bugs on every hole. It's hard to complain about the course considering the price.
Great Value
The course has 18 par 3 holes. A few 200 yard holes, but mostly in the 140 yard range. Pace of play was good, even on a weekend. You cannot beat the value. Friendly staff.
Par 3 course that you can hit ever club in the bag besides woods
If you have 2 hours to kill, Sterling Golf Club is a fun Par 3 course. Small greens allow you to work on your short game.

Hard to find. Located behind a middle school. Course did not drain well after a rain storm.
Great practice course
This is a par 3 golf course and is perfect for practicing short and a few long irons. Greens were bumpy and appeared to have just been aerated probably a few weeks ago. I found this "hot deal" for $12 (walking). The staff were friendly and pace of play was unreal! I teed off around 9:30a (tee time was booked for 10:16a) and was done in just over 2 hours. This is a perfect practice course to go and play after working a night shift. Even though I have a par 3 course less than 15 mins from my house it was well worth the money to drive 35 mins to play a course for this money. I'm sure the greens will be in much better shape after another week. Tim Hayes
For the price
It is a decent par 3 course for the price. We would go again.
Great Fun Course
Great course to practice your short game, all PAR 3 holes varying between 190 & 100 yards. Interesting & Fun too!
Good PAR 3 Course
Great course for practicing your short game. Great for walking I do not recommend a riding cart. For never played the course I would like to see more signs or arrows as to where the next hole is; somewhat confusing. Overall very nice PAR 3 course.
Great course for a beginner golfer
I played a solo round and was adequately challenged during the day. I had a great experience being able to walk the course without distraction or feeling hurried. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to pass a few weekend hours or practice short game.
Basic par-3 course
Sterling Park is a basic par-3 golf course. Course was in decent shape - greens and fairways were acceptable but tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. Only played front 9 on a Saturday afternoon and waited to tee off on every hole. Took my 10 year old daughter and it challenging enough for her. Would play there again.
this is a good short game and warm up course
The course maintenance could be better with the following: I) Provide sand for tee box and other divit repairs. Ii)Make scorecard easily accessible available. Iii)Beter maintain teebox and greens. ETC.
Nice little course, good chance to practice short game
Nice par 3 course. A few holes almost 200 yds long, only a couple shorted than 100
