The best par-3 on the Green course, and perhaps the most beautiful hole on the course Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 07/26/2018

More for a mountain goat
This is a very hilly & steep course and even though you use a cart, you will have to walk a lot as the cart markers at most greens have you get off the course a long way from the greens & the par 5 # 18 is cart path only and the par 4 #2 is permanently cart path only. . It is a beautiful course & in great condition oday. Because almost all the holes have steep inclines you need good cleats & strong knees.
The women’s restroom on the course had no hand soap & when I came back by after playing 13 holes, they made no effort to put soap in there.
It is a challenging couple, lots of traps, well marked, with basic carts.
David
Course was very wet from previous rain 2 days before our round. Many traps were puddles. Staff were very pleasant and helpful but to keep reminding us of the pace of play when the complete course was cart path only was not really considerate.
Sand/hills
Fun course, good. Condition (for the time of year) cart oath only made all the hills a lot taller as the round went on
This course is in pristine condition
A beautiful course in a secluded setting. All kinds of wildlife. Fairways and greens are in immaculate condition. The greens are a little slow but true. Very friendly staff.
Don't Play Bermuda (Early/Late Season)
All the fairways were in so-so shape, due of course to Bermuda fairways (not CPO but could drive on rough). I hit most of the fairways but it was still really hard to make good contact (not a scratch). There are plenty of other Bermuda fairways courses out there. I always knew to avoid them until early May but now know that you should avoid them after Nov 1st since the grass is so thin both time frames. The front 9 bunkers were in bad shape, back 9 were better. It clearly is not as nice as the Gold course but the layout is nice. The par 3s (especially downhill ones) are the best part. A buddy paid for the round so don't know how it costs in early Dec but suspect given the name, it's not cheap during the high season.
Conditions were somewhat challenging, cool and somewhat breezy, but not beyond what you would expect for a late fall day. The most annoying aspect was the amount of leaves on the green. We played the Gold course the next day in cooler, windier conditions and did not have to deal with the amount of leaves on the green. The only other negative was the cart paths need a lot of work.
Golden Horseshoe green course
Great layout! However, it had not rained recently and the corse was much wetter than one would have thought. The bunkers must drain poorly because they were in bad condition. Greens were fast, but several were in poor shape. Pay the extra bucks and play the Gold course, it is in much better condition.
Green Course
We played the course Saturday morning after records amounts of rain Friday afternoon. The course was very wet and cart path only. The course has a good layout but was to wet to fully enjoy. The staff was very friendly. Course is a little older and outdated. I am also unsure of some of the yardage markers. I was having to play 1-2 clubs more for each shot. I would play the course again; but I don’t think it’s worth 90$ (Even on the weekend). I would go down the road and keep playing royal new Kent
Worth every penny
