Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
About
LakeLand Village in Allyn, Wash. offers a 27-hole layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a PGA-caliber golf course that is player friendly but still has plenty of challenges in store. The golf course is divided into three nine-hole layouts that are played in 18-hole combinations. The nines are referred to as Generation I, II, and III. Gen I and Gen II are the shorter of the three layouts and have a classic design. The undulating greens are known for being some of the best in the state, offering smooth surfaces that putt fast and true. In addition to keen short-game skills, accuracy is key on this golf course since several of the fairways are fairly narrow and there are out-of-bounds and water hazards throughout.

Gen 3
Great condition, greens rolling well even with aerification. Good mix of holes for this nine
Best Kept Secret
The course is usually open even without a tee time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Driving range was close as was the putting green. Grens were some of the best I've played this year. Choice of 4 different tees made it great for my group. Just an overall great experience.
Nice Track
It was a bit soggy due to a 24 hour rain yesterday. That may have scared off the golfers as the course was mostly deserted. Lakeland is always an enjoyable outing even if your game is not up to par.
Great wet weather course
Me and my golf buddy played on a day when it had rained for a couple of days. We found the fairways still offered a good roll in most places and the greens rolling true and fairly well for the amount of rain that had fallen.
We had a great day as we both were driving the ball pretty well.
Recommend this course even after a good rain!
Lakeland Village Golf Course
This is a very well maintained course. It is a great track would recommend it to everyone. Pace of play was under 4 hours.
Great day for a walk
I plated with clubs I got from a friend, so they were new for me. It took me several holes to get used to them, but I sure did enjoy the course. The greens were in great shape and pretty fast. There was quite a bit of goose crap in places., It was about 45 degrees and dry, but the fairways had moisture on them. I did rent a pull cart so that added $9 to the cost for the round.
I always enjoy this course and will be back.
Great value
Beautiful course that was challenging but not so to make the time un-enjoyable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to revisit.
Great course in great condition
Course is in excellent shape, especially the greens. Best around. Loved the variety of holes and fun layout.
Great wet weather track
I play this course about twice a month. With the wet weather coming I still get some roll on the ball. The greens are starting to get back to normal. Great job with that.
Hard course
Played the blues first ever, came up with an 88. The is OB and lateral everywhere on this course. Drive it straight or you’re in trouble. The wind was blowing hard as well. Overall fun course to play. Always a uphill or downhill shot to make.
Good wet weather course
This course offers plenty of birdie opportunities as well as some long par 4s where par or bogey is a good score. The fairways will give you the roll. Something the will be harder to find as wet weather descends.
Highly recommended!
All depends
I play this course several times a year. This summer the greens appeared to be under watered and rolling crazy fast (14...?) and would not hold wedges or even long putts.
When the season is wetter (spring and fall) the greens are more fair and hold well - but you get no roll out on your tee shots and long irons.
All in all, I love the course and its variety of holes/layout. Challenging enough to keep your attention without being frustrating.
Great condition
This course was punched and sanded an still putted great. Usually has fast greens. Todaybwas tad slower but great job on the greens. Very playable
Played in the afternoon and it was not too crowded. A little dry in places, but overall the course is in excellent condition. Price on Golf Now was more than reasonable.
Soggy round
Usually this course gives you the conditions that we wait all winter for. Great fairways and some roll. On this particular day there was a lot of water on the course. Very soggy and there were places on several holes that were so wet they were almost unplayable.
Carts drive over those parts and tear up the course as well.
I love this course but let it dry out some and leave the wet soggy conditions for winter.
