Not Worth the Price
I have played this course many times over the years and it has been improved in the last year. That said the rates went up to a level that doesn't fit this type of course. Many courses in the area are much nicer for around the same price. It is a wide open course with only a few bunkers on the course that were added after the fact. Spongy areas around the greens have been improved but still not up to the standards of a nice course.
Great little course
This course was better than I expected it would be. Lots of different layouts, nice tight greens, with very few hazards. The course was well maintained also. You just have to drive slow as the fairways are very bumpy.
Excellent outing
Better than expected, and groundskeepers working even into afternoon making major improvements while we were playing, excellent signs this links is going to leap forward to become a preeminent regional course, hopefully of much acclaim. Tribe has the money lets hope they continue to spend it on the great improvements for all.
Beautiful location, relaxing golf course!
I have played golf here on vacation for over 20 years and really enjoy the course. The par 5 number 12 is one of my favorite par 5's. It's not a TPC course that is super hard but it's a great value and right next to Anacortes. Easy to get on and not crowded. Also, the greens are in fantastic shape.
Good Value , not as easy as it looks
I have driven by the course for years and never planned to play it based on what I could see from the road at 60 mph. Boy am I glad I played it. The tribe bought it and is making some much needed improvements. The bought new balls and Matt for the range, they started mowing the grass with two different cuts (one for the fairway and one for the rough). The clubhouse was nice and professional looking. Staff was friendly, tee boxes were in good shape, greels were too. This is not a fancy course but it is well maintained. The greens are good sized and there are a lot of elevation changes. Several 400 yard Par 4s and 500 yard Par 5s challenge you. Fairways are wide but if you spray the ball you will still run up your score. I walked the course but a coupleasure holes I wished I had a cart. I had no one in front of me when I teed off at 8 am and was playing solo. Front 9 took me 95 minutes and back nine took me just under 120 minutes including a stop for a hot dog and taking my time on a couple holes to finish my drink. Fun course at a good price.
terrible surface
The course is like rolling waves of water. There isn't a flat fairway on the course
Good Value
The course was a good value since we booked it on Golf Now; otherwise I think they are charging too much. The greens are decent, but need to be rolled. The fairways need to be cut a little tighter and there are some spots where they could use some drainage. Nice views on the backside and 3 or 4 challenging holes, but basically it's an easy course. Great starter course to bring the wife to; as that is what I did.
Very undulating!!!
The course is very undulated, watch out how fast you drive your cart your kidney's will fill it after your round and the next day. Green's in good shape
don't waste your money. dog track.
This course advertises on Seattle radio stations and sounds good. I drove two hours to get here and will never come back. This is the worst course I've played in 20 years.
no power carts
pre paid the day before on golf now.com. price included cart. when arriving at the course the pro told me they didnt have any carts due to the wet conditions. couldn't offer a refund or a credit. ended up playing, and walking all 18... was extremely difficult due to conditions and that i had already walked 18 holes that day...
great staff
Course was very wet no carts were allowed on course. Small greens but in good shape. Fun summertime course.
Wide open fairways
Very enjoyable round. A couple of fairways were rather wet, but that's to be expected at the start of Spring. Climbing to the green at 16 always gets me huffin' and puffin', glad I was pushing a cart instead of carrying my clubs.
Wide open fairways
Good for those still working on a hook or slice because the fairways are very wide.
