Rolling Hills Golf Course
About
Rolling Hills Golf Course is located less than an hour north of Tacoma in Bremerton, Washington. Opened in 1972, the course has a classic layout that is just over 5,900 yards from the back tees. It's not a particularly long course but it still has plenty of challenges in store with tight fairways and blind tee-shots throughout. Mature trees frame the fairways and greens. It's an easy walking course since the terrain is mostly flat except for some gentle undulations in the greens. There are some tricky holes that will test your accuracy but overall, the layout is player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available. Rolling Hills is popular with local golfers since it's a good challenge for the price.

very laid back atmosphere. nice place to play golf.
Very nice course. A little wet but good for the amount of rain we've had lately. Will play the course again. Looking forward to next time. Very friendly crew.
Great price and value
Excellent course for a county owned course. Need to have a Marshall. Gets slow quite often.
course needs some tlc
the greens were slow, the golf trail has many ruts ,better to drive on the grass, maybe it is the end of the season and they will do some thing next year.
I made the t time with golf , I went out on my own, the course was packed and no place to go, got stuck with a 5 plus hr. round, so after almost 3 hrs. on the front nine I called it quits, so I got 9 in, their excuse was that the men's club tournament took 5 hrs, so it set every thing back, so do they have Marshalls to keep it moving , to that question was no.
great place great eats
Their Reuben sandwich is to die for.
Great practice green, very large.
It's a nice course for a cheap price
It is a very nice walkable course. Staffs are very friendly and they will take care and accommodate you.Shutout to the greens keeper they are doing a great job maintaining it.
weather
No rain forecast but front nine had little more than mist. Did not dress for rain so that wasn't fun. Back nine no rain was great. .
Good course
Course is decent to play and they don't tend to pair you up which helps. The staff is always great and very helpful
Decent course
This is a decent course, for a good price. Staff is friendly, and very helpful.
Excellent value
Nice course - price is right - some splotchy areas of fairways could use some upkeep - friendly staff - will play here again
Great "GO TO" course
Great day of golfing. Good pace of play and new carts are good. Just wish they had electric carts which are much smoother and quiet.
Clean, quick, less than friendly...
Enjoyed a nice round at Rolling Hills. The course was well maintained, and two groupings asked our twosome if we wanted to play through, so we completed our round in a little more than 3.5 hours. Must have caught the staff member at the front desk on a bad day, as he was less than friendly with us. All around, happy with the course and time.
Nice course
I have been playing this course for years, it's a very forgiving course with fairways backing up fairways, greens are good size and fairly flat.
Nice day of golf.
Except for the cart rental being a little steep it was a nice day of golf.
1st Hole In One
Played before in winter...much drier now of course. Enjoyed the round and got a little more distance without the plugged balls and slow roll impact. Greens were rolling quite well. Got my 1st ace on #9. Didn't even see it drop so it was sort of anticlimactic. Still neat to walk up wondering if it's in and you catch your first glimpse of a ball in the hole. You won't need driver much on this course. And it's is a good course to work on long iron tee shots and subsequent longer/mid distance irons into the greens.
flat course, challenging but do able
Played several times love this quarter a little wet in the winter time but enjoyable
Greens
Greens were very inconsistent slow bumpy. Needs to be maintained better. Golfers jumping holes, greens very poor.
Great course at a great price
The staff was great and the course was in good condition. Greens weren't as fast as I thought they would be, but had a great time.
Kinda soggy
Pretty good value for a public links on a Saturday. The power carts are brand new. Several lofted shots plugged in the soggy ground. Grass grown out and had some white clovers (making hard to locate white golf ball) probably since the ground was too soggy to mow it.
The bar has happy hour seven days a week with great deals. So great it attracts a regular crowd of daytime and daylong drinkers.
Course should be playing well once the ground dries out and it can be properly mowed. Overall we had fun and enjoyed the day.
Rainy but fun
Wet day, wet course, but had a lot of fun. Fast paced. Fun course that wont beat you to death on a miss hit.
