Camaloch Golf Club
About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

Lots of 2 somes
Pace of play was ok despite the Marshall coming by on hole 6 and telling my 3 some to push the 2 some ahead of us. They were waiting on every shot. Thought the Marshall jumped the gun a bit. But at least he was trying. Tough layout if you don't hit it straight.
Excellent Condition, fun course
I've golfed at Camaloch several times due to its convenient location for me. This year the course is in the best condition I've experienced. The greens are always some of the best around.
The course is a lot of fun and laid out well. It provides enough challenge for most golfers to have a great time but plays well for beginners and high handicap golfers.
During the fall/winter months it can get pretty wet but hey we live in Washington State!
My only complaint can be pace of play at times. Because many holes have fairways that parallel an opposing fairway you often run into golfers in your fairway or find yourself in theirs. This can slow play down waiting for each other etc..
Staff is always very friendly and accommodating and they have a nice driving range and carts that are well cared for and in good condition.
Great local Course
The course was in excellent condition, greens were true and in perfect condition
Great Condition
Round took a bit longer than expected (5.5 hours) but course was in great shape. Greens rolled great. As always, staff are courteous.
Great Find
First time we have played here and thoroughly enjoyed it even with very windy conditions, the course was set up well, and though greens were punched recently they played well. I was super impressed. Nice layout makes for challenging set ups. Course knowledge would have probably saved me 5 shots but look forward to returning and using course knowledge for a better score.
Camaloch
Course was in great condition for this time of year. The course was busy but the flow was good. This our first time on the course and was confused on some of the holes. Overall we had a great time and would recommend it highly.
winter
The course was in as good of shape as it could be. It is still winter till the 21st of March! Off course amenities do not exist, nor are they relevant.....?? New manager of the course is unfriendly.
Camaloch golf course
State of mind, friendliness, good attitude, pleasantries amongst fellow golfers, golf etiquette, are needed at any course in order to enjoy your highly paid round... These things are definitely missing at camaloch!
In contrast I’ve been bullied by other “golfers”, nasty comments, rude cut in front of you type “golfers” from course house owners, SLOW play, they aren’t courteous to let better golfers play through, and incredible attitudes, I have felt bad or upset throughout most of my experiences there.
The “in crowd”counter help are not glad you are using their business, no deals that make sense, Golfnow deals require min 2ppl.
There are so many courses around close by, drive a little it’s definitely worth it!
Great greens
Fun course with some easy holes and some tricky ones. The greens roll beautifully. Good service as well
Ok course
The course is in good condition and the greens are good the price is high for an average course.
Expensive
Too expensive for a destination golf course 15 min. Off I-5. No senior rate on weekend. On the up side Sundays are wide open because of the cost.
Good course for any handicap. Can be challenging with high winds at times
