Great layout,
Love the layout, bit wet in places, normal for this time of year, but enjoying the spring golf
Epic season opener!
This was the first time my friend an I got
Out together this season. Got the Saturday hot deal and the attendant at the pro shop took care F making sure we had everything we wanted! Class act customer service! With the pro shop was better stocked. Lady at the snack counter was awesome and got us all we needed at the turn! I love this place!
excellent value and pace of play
We had a 9 AM tee time, arrived 40 minutes early on a Sunday, and they let us go out when we were ready. Evidently, this course is wide open on Sundays during football season. The layout was fun, and the greens were in good shape. Watch out, some of the greens are smallish and tough to hit, but overall, a very fair course and relaxing environment.
I suck at golf but always a great time freindly staff great course love it
Enjoy playing this course
We golf here quite often and always have a good time. Easy to get a tee time and there are 27 holes. Pace of play is usually great.
Love Newaukum
Love playing Newaukum, Drive down from Olympia to play this course, never seems to be to crowded
, the staff in the pro shop and the restaurant are always friendly, and the food was great. Prices are reasonable. Played all 27 holes in about five hours
Good old country boys golf course
No one cares what clubs you have or how good or bad you are . Laid back good times
Great day at Newaukum
Course was in good shape with friendly staff and no delays.
Slow day at NV
Had the misfortune to be behind a scramble event consisting of beginners so it was slow..course ok, greens good and was a good value thanks to GN
Not bad for price. Very slow play.
The course was in decent shape but we were behind a tourney and we had to wait every hole. 5 and a half hour round!!!
Newaukum, Great greens & fairways.
Played the south and the east courses. Very impressed with the greens and the fairways. Talked to staff and they indicated they would be sanding and then rolling the greens shortly which will make them even better. The course is really improved and is in good playing condition.
Run in with grizzly adams
Golf this course all the time and have for years. I get it...some holes have soggy areas and need to be avoided with carts. The ropes and signage were confusing. Found myself on the wrong side of the ropes a couple of times. Guy on a tractor thought it necessary to shout obscenities at me from a distance, then come running up to me saying he was reporting my cart number, etc. Wouldn't listen to apologies, or slow down enough to tell me where I should go to "get the cart out of there." I tried to explain that it was an accident, but he told me It wasn't and went on a rant. He moved a no cart sign to the gap in the ropes and pointed to it claiming I drove right by it...then admitted he just put it there. Finally, another (calmer) guy came over and helped me to get to where I should be. It was embarrassing and really ruined the round. I know his motivation was to maintain the course and not cause cart damage to the fairway, but he went way overboard. He shouldn't treat people that way.
