Bad
Teeoff makes you think it’s good deal. Course just punched and sanded. Had to play “other 9” twice. Drove 100 miles RT. Not worth it. Saved $3 on fee with deal time. Big deal. Teeoff selling times for $70 and at the course was $54. Should make you aware of conditions. ALWAYS will call course first from now on. Very disappointed
very nice
great conditions. Greens just being aerated. A little sandy but to be expected. Would play here again.
Great course and great staff.
Just an amazing course. Very well kept and the staff are always great. You will definitely not be disappointed playing here. 10/10
Mixed Bag
Played this on a 11 AM hot deal. I played tips and this might’ve been the tightest course I’ve ever played, but I definitely attribute some it it to the wind. There was a 1-3 club wind the entire round and made it feel like no matter what you did you couldn’t hit the fairway. With tight fairways and the rough being like CONCRETE, the ball would bound 10-15 yards, making every second shot a recovery shot. If it’s windy, don’t play.
Get out and try this one, Spokane
I'm from the midwest and had 5 days in Spokane to play golf while my wife hiked in the mountains. The Spokane city system is spectacular, and I had 3 great rounds there. But about a one-hour drive brought me to Chewelah and my best experience of the week. Course is in nice shape, but the layout was fascinating. It's built halfway up a mountain, and a few of the holes take full advantage of this elevation change. There are several memorable holes, including one which is so vertical from the tee that I didn't use driver, and another with an alluring shortcut between two pines and over a bunker, making me feel more like a billiards player than golfer. If I come back, this will be my first choice.
Spokaloo
Always a pleasant day at the golf course for my wife and I.
Great Course
First time playing the course, I was unaware that there is a 9hole and 18hole course. Staff was understanding in allowing my wife and I to go through all 27 holes - Staff was busy when I checked in and I went off the 9hole course accidentally. Make sure you go on the right course. Overall beautiful course, well maintained and a tricky up hill hole (has been the most challenging so far).
No oversight
We always enjoy playing here. The only drawback and it is a big one is that the course does not regulate slow play. In our case we had a 4 some and 3 some directly in front of us with no one else in sight on the course. Neither group offered to let us play through. We could see at least 3-4 holes in front of us with no players on them. Sadly this is the usual here. If you are unlucky to be behind do not expect the local players to let you by. Almost like they resent sharing the course with you. There were 2 groups behind us. So we let them join us on 16, -18. We found that the 5 of us could still keep up with the groups in front of and we still had to wait. The course is good, food alright but the golf course management appears to care not. Never seen a marchall out there on the many times I have played.
