Was my home course.
Much improved
Hadn't played here since it expanded to 18 holes. Overall, the conditioning is much improved and the new nine is fun and challenging with beautiful scenery if the golf isn't going well.
A fun course, in need of water, with dry conditions. Staff needs to be trained on Golfnow reservations, unaware we had them.
Front is more park like and back more links style. We were able to play under 4 which is always a good thing. With the hot and dry conditions we have had very hard and brown, but would play again.
great versitile course at a very reasonable cost
This is a great course for normal golfers (not golf snobs) offering a good variety of holes i.e. dog-legs, elevated greens and tee-boxes, water, sand, unmaintained environmentally responsible rough on some holes, fast greens and the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty while golfing.
The placement of the various tee boxes (red to black) results in anything from a relatively easy round to quite difficult by offering men 1300 additional yards from the white tees to the black and requiring the more adventurous to tee off over water, ravines, additional dog-legs and brings sand and trees into play. What the course lacks in length it makes up for in diversity. The length makes it possible to actually carry your clubs and get some exercise.. All this helps to offer an enjoyable time for all golfers even if they are in the same group.
You're not going to mistake this course for Pebble Beach but if you want to have a fun round to match your ability and desire without worrying if you have the latest monogram on your shirt this might be the course for you.
I believe this is a community owned course and the community is to be complemented on the great job they are doing.
