Enumclaw Golf Course
About
Situated below Mt. Rainier, Enumclaw Golf Course is considered one of the most beautiful courses in western Washington. The stunning natural setting is a showcase of the best Northwest golf has to offer. The course is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, elk, otters, and heron. From late September through early October, golfers can witness the salmon coming up Boise Creek to spawn. The layout meanders through tall pines and across rolling hills. The front nine is less challenging than the back where there are more strategically placed bunkers and blind tee shots. With small greens and a variety of elevation changes throughout, accuracy is essential for a low score. Enumclaw Golf Course's par-3 holes are particularly challenging. The course also features several risk-reward opportunities that emphasize strategy over skill.

Course was dry today and in good condition. Greens were rolling well. Can't complain too much considering the weather was perfect. A little pricey for the carts though.
Fun in the sun
Had a great round on a beautiful day in Enumclaw. The greens were great, some of the fairways were dry and hard to hit off of. But overall it was a great time.
Good time to play this course
I play Enumclaw often because it is local and can get a round for a good price. Played it twice this week for $10.99 each walking 18. Course is in great shape for Enumclaw and the greens are fast. We did 18 on Wednesday in under 4 hours but on Friday it was the slowest I have ever seen. 5 plus hours and stacked up at every tee box. Not sure why because it didn't look like the course was that busy when we pulled up maybe it was just the three groups in front of us. Regardless of being slow, I was golfing on a nice sunny day and not sitting in the office like I am now. This is a good course to play in the summer and early fall when the salmon are running. The creek is packed with fish in the fall and it is a very unique experience. Don't play when it has been raining because some of the fairways get swampy.
Nice Course
First time playing here. Nice course with beautiful views. I would play here again.
Great course
Friendly staff, beautiful scenery just a great little course. Would definitely recommend playing it.
Great value - needs more frequent mowing
The weather was great, greens were great, some of the fairways needed mowing and the ones that didn't had been mowed too late and grass clippings were so thick that you had difficulty finding your ball. The GolfNow Hot Deal was such an excellent price that we drove the extra distance to play this course. First time I've played it since the 60's. We will return; just hope it's been mowed better.
Maintenance
Fairways needed mowing and a lot of dead grass from previous mowing
Greens!!
Great greens rival some private courses fairways bumpy could use an awd cart 2#,11# are still wet some real nice views overall a real fun day with friends
In the sticks golf
Geat valvue for the price we paid
Nice beginners course
I am a very new golfer. First season I've golfed more then a handful of times but I hadn't been in a while. Course was very wet, (had rained all day the day before and alot the month before) but still playable. However, one thing to bring my score down was the guy at the pro shop. I asked about the course and he explained a bit about it stating the right side of the fairways are dryer ect ect. He then went on to tell me "We play the 10th as a par 3 in the winter," with a mischievous or sneaky look in his eyes. Well when I got to the 10th it was one of the most raised up least wet holes on the course, but I figured well you must tee off down below somewhere. Wasted my time driving all the way to the pin looking for a "winter tee box" but never found it so I tee'd off as normal and played it as a par 5. However, when I got to the 11th (the one where you tee off a pad, not a tee box) I found that where my drive landed was SOAKED. Two to 3 inches of standing water over the entire fairway. I played out of the 2 inches of standing water only to see that about 75 yards out from the green was a tee box. I think the man at the pro shop purposely told me the 10th played as a par 3 and not the 11th and found some amusement in misdirecting a beginning golfer. Other then that my experience was great.
Fun course to play
Chose this course as a Hot Deals and it was a great course to play for the price. A little wet on the fairways due to the recent rain but the greens looked in good shape albeit a little slow.
Great day at the Claw.
Golf course is in good shape, the greens are challenging for even the best of putters. Rolling fast and true. Definitely a good round earned if you are able to finish with zero 3 putts or break 80.
Its only worth it if its a hot deal
I only play it if its a $10 hot deal. If your paying more than that then you are over paying. Its just not a great design course. 80% of the greens are on an up slope and tiny. Few holes your hitting off mats. And there is never any water on the course to drink.
You can't beat $10 to hit some balls around but its not worth it if its beyond that.
We're sorry to hear that you don't find the course in great shape. We will certainly take your criticism into account moving forward.
Going downhill
The current staff would greatly benefit from some customer service training and I wish they would go back to starting from the original first hole.
Dear u000002931128,
We are sorry to see this review come in and see that you did not have an enjoyable experience at the course. We hold our staff to the highest standard, and this does not reflect the normal quality of our customer service. Please email us at enumclawgolf@gmail.com, and provide any examples of what you experienced. We would be happy to discuss this further with you.

Took care of the golf fix
Lots of potential, interesting set up but hitting off mats on some holes doesn't work for me. Carts paths are primitive but the greens were fairly decent. Took care of my golf fix but way to far to drive to for this kind of course. The staff at the Proshop and restaurants were very nice. If you are close and need to get your fix then ok but there are a lot better courses around for the same money. As for me been there done that....thanks
Dear Angel1577106,
We appreciate your feedback. Although we are glad to hear you recognize our staff friendliness, please do not hesitate to call the pro shop directly so we can discuss your concerns. We would be happy to work together to make your next experience more enjoyable.
Best regards,
Enumclaw Management
Good times
Played only the front 9. Took our time as it was my nephews first time out on a course ever. The conditions were rainy but the course was in great shape. Lots of improvement in cutting back of bushes is really improving the views of the creek.
Should play really well this summer.
Fun course to play!
The course layout, although short, keeps the round interesting. Many blind shots from the tee or a second shot on a par five. And incredibly small greens can make things tougher. Not the best course conditions.
Fun at Enumclaw
This is a fun and quirky golf course. For the cost of playing it is well worth the money. It has a few unique holes that are blind shots and a few risk/reward holes. I always enjoy the course - and at this time of year - late September, early October the creek that runs through the course is full of spawning salmon - so much so that there is a distinct aroma. The spawned out salmon are so thick you can almost walk across the creek on them.
Good deal for the money
We had an awesome deal that included the cart. Enumclaw is not a fancy course. It is close to our home and very convenient. The greens are good, but the fairways are very dry this summer. Most of the time Enumclaw seems soggy, so I like the drier conditions.
I like Enumclaw and we will be back.
Thank you for the kind words, Justin! We hope to see you again soon!
