Father Son outing
There were detours getting to the course. We arrived just in time to meet our tee time. We were paired with two others. We were not planning the pairing, but all worked out okay. I enjoyed the course from start to finish and would play it again whenever possible. My son and I didn't play up to our usual round of golf, but sometimes that happens. I lost 7 balls and shot 89, my son usually plays high 70's to low 80's, he was over 100. We would love to play again when we are playing our best. Belavista Ar. is the only other course we've played that had a better view.
Very well maintained!!
Great course in great condition! Greens are in excellent condition! Loved the layout, very challenging! Definitely will be going back!
Holds water
Great layout, one the day that I got to play the course was very wet. You can tell that the course doesn't handle water very well.
Great Day
My son and I played. Spring break in Tulsa. The plentiful range balls were nice, the golfcourse was great, weather was cooperative for March, see ya next year!
Nice course
This course is always in good shape and it is a great layout. I never get tired of playing it. My favorite thing is that range balls come with the green fee.
Forest 3-10
Greens were in horrible condition. ball indentions EVERYWHERE. Really rough. Score cards were almost unreadable. For first time playing at this course, score card layout is very important to help "see" the course. Greens were so bad, we left at hole 12. Horrendous. I pay a LOT less for better greens at a LOT of other public courses. Had lunch in the bar. Great staff, fast, and sandwich was good. We spent money in the bar, spent money in the pro shop. I like to make sure I spend money at the clubhouse. I always want to leave a positive message that I am here to enjoy the offerings, not just the golf. Plus its important to support the other revenue generating portions of the club house. $250 spent, 12 holes because greens were horrible. Bad value.
Great bang for your buck
This is the closest you'll come to a country club without having to be a member at one. If they had caddies you could pay as needed, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Great golf track near Tulsa holds up to the heat
My wife and I chose Forest Ridge after doing a lot of course reviews for our itinerary that included a stop near Tulsa. We made a great choice as this course was challenging but also a lot of fun to play. The rough does eat balls and is very difficult to get out of so stay in th short grass and don't get greedy trying to get out of the rough.
The course was in immaculate condition and they must really work hard at it with the heat that they have to deal with in OK. The greens rolled fast and true.
Pace of play was great as we were concerned since we were playing on :Labor Day and the course was very busy when we arrived but we had a noon tee time and I guess 94 degrees sent a lot of folks home in the afternoon...lol.
The staff was very friendly and the cart girl was ever present on this very hot day. The course is also surrounded by a beautiful housing community.
We did not get a chance to try dinner afterwards due to the holiday schedule for the staff but the clubhouse appeared to be very charming and our interactions with wiat staff prior to the round was excellent.
Definitely a place to play when in the Tulsa area.
Walkers Beware
Beautiful and truly fantastic golf course, arguably the best in Oklahoma- private or public. Club house is good, practice area is ok (good bang for the buck on driving range but just ok chipping area), greens are fantastic year round and bunkers are pristine soft white sand. My one complaint, and the reason this course didn't get a higher rating, is there is no reduction in green fees for walkers. Whether you want to walk or ride you pay for the cart every time. So hopefully you can afford the $70 green fees and aren't an aspiring, young weekend golfer who can hardly afford $30 rounds. I get it, they want an exclusive yet public course. But in my opinion (just and opinion) part of the reason golf is losing so many players is stuff like this. Anyone who walks should be allowed to not pay for a cart, period.
Great course. As always.
Forest Ridge is arguably the best public course in the area. Always in great condition, and a great track too.
Shoot a low score here, and you will know you played well.
I loved everything , except my score! And I can't wait to play it again, but I love a challenge, how about you!
Awesome
Very challenging course. Not a grip it and rip it course. You have to manage every shot. Tight fairways. Loved how it made you think!!! I will play this course again!
Hot Deal Amazing
Hot Deals for this course are great. Fun yet very challenging course teaches everyone the importance of hitting fairways and GIR. Staff are great as well. Course was in great shape for April. Greens were fast and rolled very true. I'll play this course anytime
Forest Ridge GC
If you have to play 1 course while in Tulsa, OK, it has to be Forest Ridge GC. This is a semi-private course that is challenging, always in immaculate shape and will leave you wanting to play again (even after it eats you up)!
Every hole has it's trouble areas - be it water, sand, trees and of course, wind. Fairways are wide and generous and the greens are very fast. Great tee boxes (4 sets) and a very friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Back nine is tougher than the front, so make sure to take advantage of every birdie opportunity while you can.

The course was in excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition. The pace was slower then I hoped because several foursomes teed off before my threesome. Excellent value for the price one of the more challenging and enjoyable courses to play here in Tulsa
