Father Son outing
There were detours getting to the course. We arrived just in time to meet our tee time. We were paired with two others. We were not planning the pairing, but all worked out okay. I enjoyed the course from start to finish and would play it again whenever possible. My son and I didn't play up to our usual round of golf, but sometimes that happens. I lost 7 balls and shot 89, my son usually plays high 70's to low 80's, he was over 100. We would love to play again when we are playing our best. Belavista Ar. is the only other course we've played that had a better view.
Challenging and enjoyable
This was my first time playing this course. It is the nicest and most expensive course I have played in the Tulsa area. You get what you pay for I guess. It was early season so the bermuda was just starting to green, but mostly brown. In spite of that, the course was well manicured and the lies in the fairways were good. Most landing areas off the tee seemed generous. A few tee shots were tight requiring precision or less than driver. The staff were fantastic. Super friendly to newcomers.
Rain = poor conditions
The course was soggy, Mother Nature was not cooperating with the golf course.
This made for a tough day of cart path only.
The driving range was closed so zero warm up. This was not a great day day for golf. Unfortunately there will be days like this.
I will come back and play this course again when the weather is nice.
The good side of this outing was the greens were in great shape even with all the moisture
Great track!
I played it for the first time back in February, and even in dead season I enjoyed it. Work trip brought me back through the area again and I got to play it again in full green. It’s a challenge, but it will be a regular stop any time I’m in the area for sure
Great Price for late round
Friendly staff. Great amenities. Fun and challenging layout. Pace of play, 4 hour, 15 minute round. Storm Debris needs cleaned up. Dry/bare spots on some fairways. Players should learn to fix divots, some greens were dimpled pretty well. Green speeds friendly. Late afternoon/early evening rate is a little high. Overall, one of the best public courses in the state.
Nice course. Fix divots!
First time playing the course as we were passing through on vacation. The course is in great shape and beautiful. The only issue with the course (which isn’t entirely the courses’ fault) is the amount of un-fixed divots on the greens. The greens themselves are in great shape but no one fixes their divots. We would fix multiple on each green in the putting line.
A pleasurable amount of difficulty
As always, course is in great shape. Pace, carts, people, etc.. top notch. Difficult challenge, but has plenty of spots for opportunity. This has become my favorite course on this side of Tulsa.
Forest Ridge Gem of Tulsa
Pleased with the golf course, great to be able to play golf in the area that they maintain course. Will go back after Bermuda grass fills in more.
My favorite course in the Tulsa and surrounding areas
This course is easily the best course that the public can play. The course layout is for the player who likes to challenge themselves and be an artist with their shots. Course is in fantastic shape already and can tell it's set up for PGA level conditions this summer. Greens are always active and roll perfectly. The green fees are a little pricey, but can say it's at that level. I play weekday twilight at $59 and feel like I am getting a fantastic deal with that price. Great course!
A fun Oklahoma course!
The ratings of this place speak for themselves. Course in good shape for time of year. Not a driver-wedge course. I always enjoy playing here!
Greens are in phenomenal shape. Very true and good pace.
Great course. The layout is challenging but if you place the ball off the tee box, you will be rewarded. Risks will be greatly rewarded if executed. Greens roll true and quick. Greens hold and when you hit the green for being quick greens. A little expensive. I would say a fair price would be $60-65 but real price is around $77-80
Great Layout / Value
This course is well worth the green fee. Challenging, with uneven lies and some tough to read greens, Course has been in excellent shape both times i've played there.
Fantastic find in Tulsa
Highly recommended semi private course just outside Tulsa. The course was in excellent condition especially given the hot and dry conditions. The staff were super friendly and helpful. What also stood out was the respect as exemplified by the repaired pitch marks and fairway divots that those that play the course show it
