Best Semi Private Course in Tulsa!
The course was in amazing condition! It is a tougher course to play, due to the plentiful mature trees, but still very enjoyable to play. Easily one of Tulsa’s best courses.
Course in great condition
Course in great condition, very windy day enjoyed the round , tough course
Excellent Semi-Private Choice For Public Golfers in Tulsa Metro
Visiting from out of town for the PGA Championship week at Southern Hills. After researching public golf options close to Tulsa, found Forest Ridge to be one of the top options for value and great golf experience.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking is allowed and course is a decent hike but not too strenuous. They offer the ClubCar remote caddies at no extra charge (since regular cart is included in greens fees) and also regular push cart for rent, so very accommodating for walkers.
Very wet conditions from overnight storm so we played lift clean and place from fairway or if ball super muddy. Driving range was closed due to wetness. Course dried up as the morning heated up.
Drives did not roll out at all and plugged often so glad we played 6500 yards and not 7K yards. Only one in our group had previous course knowledge but set up is such that most targets make sense and course is right in front of you. I liked the greens - started speeding up as round went on, no super undulations and greens average size I'd say.
2 guys we played with felt fairways were tight but I did not agree, thought they were just wide enough, played with one ball all round / no lost balls. Plenty of areas to aim for to avoid trouble.
this is a super planned golf community so those who live here and members have a very favorable golf community to enjoy. I will definitely look it up again if ever in Tulsa.
Forest ridge
Fun & challenging course. I wouldn't want to walk 18 though. Food here is terrific and staff ire very nice.

Great Course - Very Challanging
Excellent Shape, good greens, great staff and club restaurant. New Driving range and practice areas.
Solid, if not spectacular
The strength of Forest Ridge lies in the two par 3s on the inward nine. The 13th and 15th holes feature brilliant rock walls that buttress the greens and offer the most memorable shots in the round.
Bolstered by those two holes, the back nine is far more interesting than the front nine. The short 315-yard par-4 14th that connects the two signature holes requires an iron off the tee and employs good strategical thinking. Same with the par-4 16th, which from the blue tees runs out of fairway at 250 yards off the tee. The course is playing firm and fast right now so club down on these two holes.
Another favorite hole is the par-4 second. Play for the right half of the fairway, as a shot down the left will leave approach shots blocked out by a stand of trees fronting the creek below the green. The same thing happened to me on No. 4. I found the course to largely favor a player that cuts the ball versus a draw.
The course plays through a neighborhood and homes line virtually every hole, but it’s not obtrusive.
Conditions for late December were very good. Obviously everything is dormant, but again, the course is playing firm and fast and the greens rolled very pure.
The practice area is top notch. And the announcement over a PA system of your appointment on the first tee was a treat.

Forest Ridge
Great Layout and very friendly staff all around. Great condition for this time of year.
Good day!
Golf course is wet right now but still good. Carts are excellent. Can't complain at all for middle of winter.
Beautiful facility
First time at Forest Ridge. Wonderful course with a first rate staff. The greens were in excellent condition especially considering it was early spring when we played.
Trust the 5 star rating!
Truly impressive course! I was visiting from KC and found this course on the Golf Now app rated 5 stars. I thought, “Surely this rating is a hoax!”
Boy was I wrong! This place was pretty amazing! The staff was extra friendly and very helpful. The course was beautiful and very well manicured! The fairways and greens were as good or better than some nice country clubs that I’ve played! The greens had to rolling at a 12or 13... I had a really nice time and can’t wait to get back when everything turns green!
Good experience!
Course is great. Carts are excellent! People are friendly and helpful! Couldn't ask for more.
Excellent experience
Forest Ridge is a challenging and beautiful golf course. It demands accuracy off the tee and the greens roll true. The many sand traps are well placed with a consistent white sand. Every one on staff is helpful and friendly and the club house has a very good kitchen and 19th hole area.
My new favorite course, BY FAR
I have never played this course and it is amazing. Every part of this course is great. The greens, fairways, and even roughs are well taken care of. I’m not very good and I usually only play once a month, but I will always look to play at this course. They do an awesome job in every aspect I encountered. I’m already looking to play again soon and enjoy the golf carts (with nice seats, an ice chest, and a ball cleaner all on board). I can’t wait to go back!
Second time around
Greens were recently aerated, but greens rolled fine and course plays fair but demands accuracy off the tee in order to score well.
