About
The Golf Club at Hawk's Prairie offers two 18-hole courses, the Links and the Woodlands. Located just a few miles north of Olympia in Lacey, Washington, the club is one of the best golf values in the South Sound. The Links Course joined the original 18 holes in 1999, providing a stark contrast to the aptly named Woodlands Course. The classic Scottish-links design features open fairways and undulating greens. The layout sprawls north towards the mouth of the Puget Sound. There are some rolling hills but the course is still a nice walk, especially with the views of Mount Rainier along the way. You'll encounter numerous bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards come into play on half of the holes. It's a challenging but fair golf course with five sets of tees making it playable for all skill levels.

Very Friendly Golf Course
This course is friendly both in its layout and in its staffing. The pro shop staff are amazing! We've played here several times this season and the staff has always been accommodating and friendly. The course is in good shape except for the bunkers which need new sand. We are both senior golfers and this course is excellent for our needs and abilities.We would definitely recommend for older golfers or short hitters.
Great Value, great pace and easy walking course
Reserved through Golf Now for $51 per round (3 players); showed up and was told about a 2 for 1 special with great Pro Shop staff. 8am tee time, cruised around in under 4 hours. Good pace of play and great walking course.
Dry Winter Course
a very dry course in the area. Car path only for power carts, but the course condition is good enough for power carts. Love it/
Beautiful day, great round
Course is in great condition, considering recent rainfall, greens are awesome Tees are up which makes the course a little less challenging, but good for winter weather. We enjoyed our time at The Links very much- looking forward to warmer weather and drier conditions. One of my favorite places.
Best value for the price
Great layout. In great shape from tee to green. Arrived early and staff gladly got me out early. I have played here many times and still haven't found a nicer track for the price. Highly recommend.
Great course
The Links course is one of my top 5 courses to play in the South Sound. Greens are usually in great shape and challenging speeds, course is challenging, but a good score isn't impossible.
Christmas Eve at Hawk's Prarie
It was colder than expected, but the course was in as good of condition as you could hope this time of year. The fairways were mostly dry and the greens were in great condition. Definitely a good winter course.
Golf Course At Hawks Prairie
Love playing these courses, though the Link is my favorite. Always seem to find too many trees on the Woodland side.
I have always enjoyed the course and the overall experience. Would recommend the course to others.
