Blue Boy West Golf Course
About
Blue Boy West Golf Course in Monroe, Washington is a nine-hole course that is great practice for beginners but still challenging enough for more experienced players who are looking for a quick round. The tough but fair layout will test you with water on seven holes and several strategically placed bunkers throughout. You'll also come across a few tricky doglegs. This is a great layout for getting some practice with your irons, but your driver won't be getting much play. It's a true shot-maker's course with a variety of holes featuring uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Accuracy is the key to a low score. Blue Boy West Golf Course puts you to the test right away with a par 4 that has trees to the left and water to the right.

Great course for wet conditions
Checked other courses around the area and modt said pretty muddy with either temporary tees or greens.
Blue Boy West had temporary tees but the greens were in pretty good shape. Spots of water and mud around the course but it turned out to be a great round. It wasn't crowded as I think most golfers stayed away because of the recent weather. All in all it was a great day and the course was in pretty good shape for the recent conditions. The people here are trying really hard to run a great Golf Course with what they have to work with. I am really glad we went.
Don’t play here if you’re a real golfer
This is for people who want to go golf in their tank tops. Course sucks and they don’t manage it, could take 3 hours to play 9 because of stupid y courteous people. Course is worth 15 bucks at best.
Also don’t book thru GolfNow for this course, the pro shop with complain about how they aren’t making any money off you and your tee times aren’t ever honored. They tell you to get in line on number 1. Like dude, all you have to do is book times and make people follow those rules.
Awesome little secret
Finally went and tried blue boy. It’s been on my radar for awhile now. I was very satisfied. Price is reasonable and course was very well maintained. I have golfed at a couple other places this year so far and this one was maintained way better than the others. Props to the grounds team. Look forward to venturing there plenty of more times this year. Thanks blue boy!
Great little course
Greens were good. Even the bunkers. Finished 18 holes in 3 hours on a Starday for $30 bucks. Kinda nice!
Love this little course
Such a good deal if you're willing to drive a little ways. You can play for $10-20 for a round of 9 large-ish holes and play a second round for $5. My son and i love this place.. It's pretty muddy around the edges this time of year (February), so don't hit your ball there. A nice variety of holes. The buildings aren't anything beautiful, except the wedding venue I guess, but I don't care about that stuff when I can play golf for a reasonable price. Definitely try it out.
9 hole course without online reservations
I booked thru GolfNow and it was never indicated on the course info it was a 9 hole course. When I arrived after driving up from Seattle (45 minutes), I was told they didn’t have a reservation system and it was first come first serve basis. Fortunately the owner of the course said he could get me out as long as I was willing to pair up which I did. The round took an extraordinarily long time to play due to full tee sheets and no real marshaling to keep pace of play. Roughly 6 hours to play 18 holes or 9 holes twice. Course was in nice condition and for the money a great value if you want to take 6 hours to play.
What a joke
So, it was about 7pm and I went online to Golfnow.com to set up a tee time, I got one for 8am.I drive out to blue boy and walk into the clubhouse and tell the guy I made a Golfnow tee time and he said “I’ll try to squeeze you guys in cause I have 4 groups waiting.it was 7:49am, I asked if they were on a frost delay or something and the guy said “did u pay online”?I said yes, and he tells me that he has no way to prove that I have a tee time cause he doesn’t have a computer and the only reason he is on golfnow is for the free advertising..long story made short:we ended up teeing off at 9:20, all tee boxes were closed and the mats were from Atleast the mid 70s.Course could be so much better with different management.DONT TOUCH THIS COURSE!
What a JOKE!
Didn’t even get to play as they were out of carts at 11:30am and couldn’t give us an estimate of when they’d have more. I don’t mind walking but I have a different bag for that or would’ve brought my push cart. Still got charged my Convenience Fee by GolfNow though. Last time I’ll try to book a tee time here or use GolfNow!
Beginner course
Very basic course out in the boonies, but the price to golf there for a 9 hole course is crazy. I would not recommend this place. 65$ to do two rounds on a par 3 9 hole course.
Corse in great shape right now
Small course but the staff and value totally balance the scales. Course is great condition for this time of year. Fairways have good roll but greens are still soft enough. Very little soggy spots which is unusual this time of year. I want to tell everyone to come play this little course and support it, but i love that my local course is almost never crowded, so... maybe just send them some money.
