Gallery Golf Course

The greens were slow bur true. Lady friendly with a nice roll for a few more yards.
Beautiful weather and about 10 degrees cooler closer to the sound. The views were fabulous. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice little pro shop with no sales tax.

Bring a bottle of water the cart service ended early in the day.

Walking the course was very peaceful yet good exercise.

Received a phone call from the course 2 days prior, they had a tournament and double booked. They needed to push my tee time back 1 hour, to 11am. Not a problem. So we get there and we are set to go as of 10:45. Then we wait...and wait...and wait some more. There was a group of about 8-10 gathering on the first hole, taking pictures, etc... There was even a Marshall at the tee box regulating things, why he didn't have our foursome that was clearly there waiting to go, go ahead of this big group, is beyond me. I think we finally teed off around 11:30.

Everything else about this course was on par with my other visits.

It's not often you hear gunfire on a golf course but after all you are on a military base.
Gallery is a nice ly laid out course with two different nines. Relatively short but with testing greens which are small and occasionally obscured. The fun starts on the front 9 with the firing range in action and the sound of heavy caliber gunfire in the background. Things really heated up on the 16th which is on the flight path of Navy F18's landing at nearby Whitby base. Those things are loud and they kept coming for half an hour.
Not ideal conditions for golfing but a great experience.

Playing near the ocean; able to see the nearby & distant islands; training Top Gun jets doing flyovers = almost forgot I was playing golf! Great day!

I love playing Gallery. The back 9 has more terrain than the front, but still very walkable.

Course in great condition and no better value for the money that I've found anywhere.

The course was fun to play however the guy at the front counter seems like he didn't want to be there. He first overcharged me, then forgot to give me my token for the range balls and when I went back he had an attitude with me. However I still had a lot of fun with my dad for Father's Day.

What a day. Wifey and I teed up on 1 just about 12:30 on saturday. Beautiful clear skies with a cool southerly breeze coming off the water. Fairways were firm and active. Greens were fast and true. Pace of play was comfortable. Course is challenging but good scores are possible if the ball is kept in play. Front nine is parable for most, back nine is even more fun. Long runs with hidden targets. Put this one on your list for this summer. You will enjoy a round of golf in the classic Northwest tradition.

This was my second time playing at Gallery. It's a good course with a few challenges. Even though the greens were being aerated, putting was not too bad. Can't wait to play again, once we get some dry days.

The course was in great shape after a week of rain. Course seemed to drain very well.

Good price especially if you use golfnow.com. front side is pretty easy, the back is more challenging.

We had a foursome that traveled from Port Orchard to Oak Harbor. The weather was perfect! Sunny and low 70's. The fairways for the majority of this course looked like a sprinkler system is non-existent. The good part of this is that we actually got some bounce and carry on tee shots. The greens were challenging but in very good condition. We would like to go back and play this course again since it was an all day adventure including a ferry trip there and back.

The location is great with beautiful views. Don't let the length fool you. It's a challenging track.

Decently manicures course with excellent greens. Postage stamp in size but true and quick. Terrific views on the back nine. Short but challenging with a few good risk/reward opportunities.

Nice challenging course the greens are quick. The view by the ocean is awesome. The fairways are wide and open. Some holes very challenging target golf loved it will look forward to playing again

course is in great shape! come to Whidbey island and play.
