A fun community course
Scott Lake Golf Course is a 9 hole community golf course a few miles south of the Tumwater area.
This was the first time I have played here and wasn't really sure what to expect. While some of the tee boxes were in fairly rough shape, and a few of the greens felt really "spongy" under my feet, I was generally very happy with the course and the condition it was in.
The layout offers a nice balance between confidence building short holes and just enough challenge to remind you that you are playing golf. There are also a couple holes where a misplaced shot will really punish you. Trust me, I know that first hand.
If you are looking for a quiet course in a nice little community, Scott Lake might be for you.
Excellent Greens
Staff and members very friendly and thanked us for visiting their course. Will recommend to our friends.

Course was dry and as well maintained as always - couple drives, couple irons - overall good value for under $20
