A great challenge
The front and back 9's were designed and built at different times, and that is the most striking feature of the course. The front 9 is relatively "wide open" with plenty of room to miss in both directions of off most tee shots. More recently, some of the most tricky bunkers on the front 9 have been removed, making it even more forgiving. The 7th is a beautiful Par 5 that wraps around a cove in the lake that will challenge you too make two good shots in a row to have any chance at making par. Conversely, the back 9 is much narrower, with many holes lined by trees on both sides. The 10th hole sets the tone early, a short, but extremely dangerous par 4. I've found that playing the back 9 first makes for a better experience - get the bad shots out of the way when you are likely to take drops anyways, and be warmed up when there are great chances to score on the front 9.
Enjoyable Course
I am an annual member and it is a really nice place to play. Beautiful area of Oklahoma with lots to offer.
