Highlands Golf Course
About
Highlands Golf Course in Tacoma, Wash. is a nine-hole course that can be played in just over an hour. All of the holes are par 3 except for one par 4. It's not your typical nine-hole course, the layout is like a full-size course shrunken down to a par 3 with several challenging elements that will test your short-game skills. The terrain is relatively flat, making it an easy golf course to walk, and it is relatively protected from the winds. The sand traps are sparse but strategically placed, and water hazards come into play occasionally as well. Highlands Golf Course is an ideal layout for beginners to get some short-game practice, but for more advanced players it's an excellent option for a quick round that is more challenging than your average nine-hole layout.

Best par3 course in the state!
Highlands par3 is the best in the state. Can work on every iron and wedge in the bag here. If you stay dry on 5, you will thrive.
First ever hole in one!
Got my first hole in one on hole 3! The course was in great shape and the greens were incredible!
Great course to practice your short game
I’ve been to Highlands a dozen or so times and love the place. Par 27 with a great mix of distances between the blues/whites. Well maintained by the staff. Small proshop and restaurant onsite and the staff are super friendly/knowledgeable.
If you’re in Tacoma and want to take the kids out or just focus on your short irons, Highlands is perfect.
Good times
Great golf course for the price, would be a better review but they let a walk on before us that slowed us down big time. Start early to have good pace or around lunch to have no wait.
Great atmosphere. Customer service 👍👍
Dial in your short game .enjoy slow play
No rush here.
Fun course to improve your game
Highlands is a fun and competitive Par 3 course that can really help a player work on their mid-irons. Currently teeing off high quality (spongy) mats and the greens are well maintained. I played in the Par 3 championship last year and I look forward to playing in it this year. Go check out the course and let me know what you think on IG @onparwithpaul.. let’s get a round in!
Highland Hills was so fun!

We can’t wait to play again!!!
Great upgrades
This course has gone thru some up grades in the last couple years and has turned it into a fabulous par 3 course to practice your short game. Greens are in great shape.
Highland Park golf course
Course was in great shape Pacer play was great 👍 enjoyed playing there
Great for Iron practice
Nice short 9 hole course. Enjoyed the pace of play. The greens are a little challenging which make your iron shots even more strategic. All in all it was an enjoyable morning on this course. Followed by lunch in Ruston point.
Fantastic par 3 course
Absolutely outstanding for a par 3 course. Renovations turned out excellent. Staff is always super friendly. Course is fun, and everyone playing there tend to be super relaxed. It's honestly my favorite course in the area. I only wish it were a better value. If they had twilight rates, or other deals, I'd be there practically every day.
