Okay for a practice round. Maybe.
Got on super cheap through GolfNow, so I can't really complain, but the fairways are like washboards, so riding in the cart is really painful. Bump, bump, bump. I lost the rangefinder out of my bag at one point, it was so bad. Course was in OK shape, but not great. The course layout is absolutely crazy. It's far and confusing from green to tee and sometimes you have to drive past people teeing off to get to your next hole. The guy in the shop was friendly and very helpful, but the shop is the worst dump ever. You have to find your way through piled up junk to get to the ancient and filthy counter. All facilities are old, dirty and worn. I wouldn't go back.
Fun
Course very lush but a bit wet. Hit it long and straight- narrow treeline fairways. Lots of contours on the greens. Hit the greens precisely or roll off !
Mt. Adams
Watch out for the trees. Hit it straight and you can score. In the trees bring your hatchet. Course is in great shape.
Fun golf course
Good for beginners and seasoned players. Fairways bordered by trees that challenge slicers. Well kept and groomed, staff is very friendly.
Nice Surprise
Saw a great deal on Golfnow for this course so three of my friends and I made the trip from the Tri-Cities to Mt. Adams to give it a try. The course was very green and has many very large trees which provides shade and problems alike. The greens were in impeccable shape and quite challenging. The course is very walkable, but there is quite a distance between a couple of the holes due to its back-and-fourth layout. I will return to play again.
Mt. Adams golf experience
Keep your drives between the trees, easier said than done, as second shots from the treeline are challenging. The flat layout makes for easy walking although the hike from 11 green to 12 tee adds an extra par 5 to the walk.
No Sceeters
This was a great Saturday at the course. Last time we played was close to harvest season and there were enough Mosquitoes to compete with the Panama Canal. Had a Great time this time though and not a Mosquito in site. The course was in almost excellent condition. The Greens were Super fast and Very challenging. A very good score on Golf Now and a must play at least once if you're in the Yakima Area.
