Great Course!!
Great staff I had a great time and great lay out!!
SUPER COURSE
GREAT COURSE---FAIRWAY GRASS WAS TIGHT AND THE BALL SETUP MADE IT REAL EASY TO HIT. THE ROUGH WAS REASONABLE AND THE GREENS WERE A BIT FAST BUT PUTT REAL TRUE. ONE OF THE BEST COURSES I HAVE EVER PLAYED.
Come Play Me - Apple Tree GC
This a a great course to play, very enjoyable rounds. I played 54 holes over 2 days. The course played differently each time due to light to mid wind condition and pace of play was great. The course featured some beautiful scenic views and setups. I highly recommend coming to this place.
The course is in excellent condition
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because pace was very slow this particular day. Close to 5 hours, which is way too slow. Don't know if it was because it was a Saturday or if there was a slow group. The staff did try to get things going. The course is in great shape and really enjoyed playing it.
Love the Course - But Long Drive from the Tri-Cities
This is my third time playing the course and loved it each time. the fairways and greens are always in great shape (I do hope they will stay that way through the summer due to the drought conditions and shortage of irrigation water). The club house is very nice and practice green and driving range are adequate for this course. The only way I get to play this course is through Golfnow's hot deals; otherwise it is to expensive for my pay-grade.
Chalenging course in great condition
Beautiful course that winds through orchards and beautiful homes. Fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled true. Definitely a course I'll go back to.
apple tree
great shape for time of year. as with most courses in the fall, leaves were abundant making the ball difficult to find.
greens were not the fastest I have played on, but not slow. had to have firm stroke to reach cup
Beautiful course. Very well maintained. Nice clubhouse.
Gorgeous course with beautiful views. Pretty lakes and stone walls. This course winds through the orchards, but is well marked. Lots of water features, so bring some extra balls if you're playing it for the first time. It plays long for women. 131 slope. It was raining some, so it's a little hard to really gauge our round, but I would go back again. Nice clean electric carts. One thing, the range is quite a way from the clubhouse, so leave a little extra time if you plan to warm up. But it's a great, grass range in excellent shape. The apple island green was really fun. #18 is tough. Great course. We play all around the Washington and Idaho area and this is one of the best-maintained courses I've been on.
Another great round, great price on GN!
We try to play here a few times a year...usually a weekend golf jaunt. We played here on the way home from Canyon Lakes. The deal we got on GN was spectactular...$39PP including cart! Apple Tree is overpriced if you pay full price/non resident there, but with the deal, it's a great course. The signature hole is the APPLE green, of course, and is just perfect.
Beautiful location
Tough course from all the tees. Would not recommend for anyone over a 25.
Beautiful and Challenging
Shot placement is key with trees, water, and bunkers throughout the course. Greens are in great shape, a two putt is a victory. Fresh cold apples at the first tee.
Fun and interesting course
This a unique and fun course. Alot of apple and pear trees along the fairways, course winds around apple orchards.Very beautiful setting. Many sand traps, water hazards and elevation changes. Course is very well maintained. The greens were nearly perfect. The 17th green was especially fun. Highly recommend.
great day
greens and fairways were in excellent shape
links type course with less than perfect signage left us first timers guessing where to go next
scorecard map also not clear enough.
otherwise, the course, pro shop and clubhouse were all excellent and the staff helpful and courteous.
Outstanding value!
We have played the Apple Tree course several times having visited from 3 hours away. It has always been a wonderful experience with a very high quality course and wonderful employees. We would highly recommend it to others.
Good course but very wet
Fun course ,and have played it numerous times. A lot different than when it opened and no homes built on the course. Very lush and green. Tees and fairwarys very good; greens a bit on the slower side. Course is very very wet, creating a LOT of humidity.
Blown Away
We visit Apple Tree annually on the way to Washington Wine Country and have always enjoyed playing the course. This time, however, we encountered high winds and blowing dust from nearby construction that spoiled the day. We also found ourselves dodging sprinklers in the middle of the afternoon.
All of which doesn't change the fact this is an interesting lay-out with enough length and contour to challenge the accomplished golfer. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Water features and white sand bunkers add to the fun, although the sand seemed to be packed tightly - perhaps by over-watering?
Good Course
Overall this is the best course to play in the Yakima area. Only real complaint is that it seemed on at least 5 holes you had to play through a waterfall of running sprinkler and hoses.
Beautiful setting, the scenery was amazing
I enjoyed playing this course. Driving through the orchards was very unique, the course was in great shape!
Nice combination of sand and water
Always enjoy playing Apple Tree. Nice combination of sand traps and water. Beautiful course. Currently improving the sand traps with fresh sand. This is a very nice improvement.
