Awful lay out
Course lay out was wild and the locals where rude. The course was clean and Well kept I’ll give them that but all and all I would not drive 45mins to this course again
Great Value for $$$
First time playing course. Tough but fair course. Greens fast, firm, and little dried up. Not brown but very tough to hold approach shots. Small greens definitely tough, and slope on larger greens made them a challenge as well.
Solid performer
This place is always a well operated golf course. Staff is always friendly. Coirse conditions are constant and always we'll above average. Fun and enough of a challenge to be fun. But not enough to be going home frustrated. Great value. And a dependable value.
excellent condition!
great looking course! newer carts. only issue was the size of the greens (tiny!), slope of greens, and pin placement. would definitely play again!
Excellent course
Will definitely play again Well maintained and very challenging Once I get a few rounds under my belt I’ll be back to play it better !
Unknown Gem
Late March so grass was not cut. It looks like fairways and greens will be nice this Spring. Greens are small but appear to be fast when cut. Workers are super friendly.
This course was decent. Never played it til yesterday. Greens are very small. Course was in decent shape. A lot of hills and blind shots
The best course I never even played
Covid has separated my father and I for almost a year and Weirton was the town that finally changed that. My dad and I came only to walk the course with the temperatures nearing 35 degrees. The pro shop wasn’t just nice, they were genuine in their words and even offered up coffee! They knew we were out of towners and welcomed us. Around 9am rolled in the two greatest foursomes in America. A group of guys who worked 30 yrs at the local steel mill together, now golf every day....regardless of the weather. Pushed back there tee time just to sit and talk with us. What local trails to take, even a Christmas light show we would have never known about. One guy, 80 years old and he shot a 73 the other day. This golf course is what golf is all about. Oh and no one had a collared shirt on and IT WAS FINE. A memory for my father and I and we didn’t even play the course. Looked great though!
Pleasantly surprised..worth the drive from Pitt
.. played 18 in 3 hours, few blind shots but overall enjoyed our round
Solid course Different challenges than normal
Nice place really nice to play and challenge yourself to rolling hills but low stress
