Beaver Dam Country Club
About
Beaver Dam Country Club sits just a few miles from Horicon Marsh, the largest freshwater refuge in the U.S. The golf course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in the 1960s but now it is one of the area's most popular 18-hole courses. The layout has a traditional design with small, elevated greens and tree-lined fairways. It is on the shorter side at 6,000 yards, at least by today's standards, but it offers plenty of challenges even without having the length. Strategically placed bunkers lurk beside the greens and the rolling terrain guarantees some tricky lies. The third and eighth are two of Beaver Dam Country Club's particularly memorable holes. These drivable par 4s provide you with the opportunity for an eagle, granted you play skillfully and are blessed with a little luck.

Good value for the money
I saw this course in the hot deals section($18/person) and figured it would be worth it. The fairways were average but didn't have any dead or mud spots, the roughs were dry and not terribly difficult. Greens were quick and one of the better features of the course. All in all for under $20 I was pleased with this.
Great value!
Beaver Dam Country Club is a fun layout with a nice mix of moderate and difficult holes. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Staff is friendly. An excellent value.
Course needs some attention but overall is a fun course to play.
The greens are in good condition. We golfed here a month ago and hole 13 still isn't repaired from the wet spring cause you still can't tee off from tees. This short par 3 needs repair to the fairway. The sandtraps need better drainage cause they were very wet and some could use more sand- I hit the clay bottom cause only bout 1 1/2" of sand. Overall the course was in good shape. Has some fun holes.
Great place for great game.
I took my in laws here. I live in Waupun and I don't care for Rock River Country Club, because I loose too many balls. Every time I play here, I have a very enjoyable time. Its just an overall great course to play on. We played 18 holes and it went fast. For having the course full. It moved along in good time. If I lived in Beaver Dam, this is where I word have a membership. Thanks to Beaver Dam Country Club for a great time!!!
nice greens fast, short par 4's challenging
nice friendly staff, fun short par 4's fast greens, course in great shape.
didn't have a record of my golf now tee time even
not overly friendly .played behind a foursome .we had a twosome but never offered to let us play thru
Very nice for the money
Would recomend playing this course to anyone!
Great staff.
The course is in very good condition for this time of year.
The greens are in great shape. The whole course was well maintained, with leaves off the fairways.
Course was in outstanding condition.
Some of the very best greens I have played on this year. Course was very enjoyable to play.
Like the course, would go there again.
Enjoyed playing there, course was in good condition. Some of the par 3 holes are a little long. Liked holes #2, 10 and 18.
Had a great time. Staff was very nice.
THIS COURSE OFFERS CHALLENGING HOLES FOR ALL GOLFERS
I FOUND THE COURSE HAD SOME EASY HOLES BUT ALSO HAD SOME VERY CHALLENGING HOLES AS WELL. COURSE RATE OF PLAY WAS AVERAGE AND THE CONDITION WAS GOOD WITH A FEW SMALL PROBLEM AREAS.THAT COULD BE EXPECTED CONSIDERING THE DROUGHT WISCONSIN HAS GONE THROUGH. YES I WOULD PLAY IT AGAIN AND HAVE NO PROBLEM RECOMMENDING THIS COURSE TO OTHERS !!!!!!!!
This course has a good mixture of yardages
When we arrived at the course, the gentleman in the pro shop was pretty rude. We had a foursome and we were basically practicing for an upcoming best ball tourney. The course has some challenging holes and for the most part in decent shape. The yardage markers would have been extremely useful had we not all had range finders. I think because we booked as a hot deal the (1) staff member we came in contact with was less than appreciative for our buisness. Its a nice course and in good shape. However, we got behind 2 female golfers who were obviousle beginners and would'nt let us play through. We followed them from holes 10-18. (We apologised later for balls sailing over thier heads). For the record we finished 12 under.
Easy holes mixed with hard ones. Roughs could be maintained much better. Rude staff members. Not great value for the price.
This course has quite a few short Par 4's that are reachable, but some are blind. Roughs could be in a little better shape, they are always pretty long which makes it difficult to find a rough ball 3 yards off the fairway. I have been here six times and have not once had a memorable experience with staff members. Most (not all) seem short and pushy to get you in and out with minimal help. Just my experience and a few golfers Ive been with have said the same. There isn't great value for the price here. When you take in the whole experience, it should be much cheaper. Better value in other courses in the area.
